Hm.... I really liked the past images I've seen of the WWD rex, but now it seems too dark. I am just back and forth on this one or the standard release. I gotta say I am leaning more towards the standard release, but then again I have some time to decide. Anyone else feel this way?

avatar_Bread @Bread I'm wondering if it is as simple as a matter of different lighting methods. The initial images from Candid Sculpts were taken outside with natural lighting, where it had more of a bronze hue, versus the newer images have been taken using the light box method, which can probably cause increase contrast, because it looks to have a darker or black body coloration now. Wouldn't hurt to ask, but I'll likely do that tomorrow (unless someone beats me to it). Going to bed soon in any case. Either way I am hoping to get this one at the very least. Already pledged for it. Fingers crossed I don't need to decrease my pledge before the campaign ends (as that would hurt the campaign, somewhat).

Anyways less then $5,000 $4,000 to go now! Awesome progress today. Definitely will either be funded before I get to bed, or shortly after I imagine. Almost got funded within the first 12 hours as well. So impressive. Has been mighty fun keeping up with this all day though.

Funded now! I just screen capped it too. Amazing feat.

Edit: Here's the screen cap. Funding is already higher than this now. Now I can get to bed lol.

One of the few kickstarters where I can see the pledge amount increasing. I always thought those were static numbers that only updated if you refresh the site. ;D But for the tyrant king, the numbers will steadily rise...

Holy smokes, I went to bed with about $10k left on the Kickstarter, and I wake up to it being funded and the first stretch goal already unlocked!

What a wild ride. I hope David gets some down time to celebrate this today, because this is an incredible achievement.

Okay, it might have already been covered here but with all the buzz about this kickstarter I might have missed it. Now that the juvenile rex has been unlocked, can someone walk me through doing the add ons? Do I just change my pledge amount to reflect the add-on price (with shipping) or how does that work? Any help for a kickstarter newbie would be greatly appreciated!

Yep, if you've already made a pledge for an adult rex, you can just increase the amount of your pledge to cover the add-on price for whichever additional figures you want. Once the campaign is over, David will sent out a link to BackerKit, which is an online storefront that will let you pick out your rewards, buy any additional rewards or extras like split shipping, and enter a shipping address. Figures that don't get unlocked during the Kickstarter itself may get unlocked as the funds start to roll in from BackerKit. That's what happened for the Ceratopsians; all of Wave 3 was funded in BackerKit.

For anyone who isn't clear on where you find the add-on prices, they're underneath each figure on the main campaign page:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the shipping for each added figure is included in the add-on prices? That's why we've got one add-on price for the US and one for international buyers?

Go to manage your pledge, then select change your pledge. From there you can just keep your pledge the same, and re-select it. After that should be a page that shows up after selecting your pledge with add-ons. You just select the ones you want and it will increase your pledge automatically. In the past one had to manually add to your pledge total before kickstarter implemented this system. I have more information in the op. Here's some screenshots to help:

With all that said now I need to update the op once again. Glad to wake up to see the juvenile funded now.

Edit: Added more screencaps. I will be adding all of these to the op to help folks.

In addition there have been two kickstarter updates, so I will be updating my op with the images from them.

Oh, nice, I'm glad Kickstarter streamlined the add-on process! That makes things easier.

Wow, less than 24 hours and already funded plus the first stretch goal. My congratulations to David Silva for a smashing success!

avatar_Bread @Bread Well, unless you firmly change your mind before the campaign ends, you could get the exclusive version now, since you won't be able to get it later. If you do decide later that you'd rather have the standard version, you could buy that one and sell the exclusive without losing money, since there will probably be demand for it from people who missed the kickstarter. That's what I'm doing, except with the exclusive 1/18 version.

The Bistahieversor silhouette is now colored in on the Kickstarter page, assuming that means it's going to be the next stretch goal revealed.

Yeah, I already mentioned that here earlier today.

I wonder which tyrannosaur will be the unlucky final stretch goal. Looks like it might be Daspletosaurus at the bottom of that group image.

Guanlong is now unlocked. And it looks like Teratophoneus is the next stretch goal to be revealed.
