GR Toys Spinosaurus

Even though I prefer the green version, the orange one is actually more than just a Papo Rip-Off.
Also, for the first time I feel the jaw articulation is the proper one for a Spinosaurus model.

Very nice figures. But I remember that not so long ago at all, $40 was the cost for a very good dino. Seems that $70 is the new $40. Mind you, these are terrific item; GR is joining the slew of new companies with high-end products.

On aliexpress those spinosaurus are sold for a more affordable price without box: 44.80 euros and with box 50.91 euros I'll give you the link. The price is more moderate than on eBay.

A shame about the head and the hand, otherwise it's fantastic. Would have been nice  if the sail wasn't shrink wrapped as well.

What's wrong with the head? Looks fine to me.

I don't think there's anything terrible about the head. For me, it looks a bit blocky, kind of angular, which doesn't excite me.

Also, i would love to see the Box. There are a few PNSO on AliExpress without the Boxes. But the PNSO Boxes are so beautiful...

Usually sellers on Aliexpress let the buyer choose figures with or without original box (at a cheaper price).
You can select it in the ordering process.
It's up to the buyer..
I always order models with original box ( for safety reasons not because I'm interested in it; I really don't have enough space for boxes too..).

In my case for economic reasons if there are two or more versions of painting, I choose in one of them that they send it to me by box and in the other or others I ask that they send it to me without them and I do it for reasons of economic savings. To date I have never had a problem with the cheapest boxless shipping method on both aliexpress and eBay.

In fact I have ordered the spinosaurus GR Toys in orange with the box and the green without it. I trust the online store and the packers of the package and the post offices, as I comment I have never had any problems.

I too have successfully ordered and received over half a dozen high end figures from the east in the "without box" format, all without the slightest sign of any mishap or damage. The shippers always seem to go to almost heroic lengths to ensure the safe transit of their products.

Can someone compare it with the papo spinosaurus from 2019, size wise.


The papo one is still better for me mainly beause it has few minor innacuracies and 2 moderate ones, while the GR toys one is skinny as heck, shrink wrapped, and not bulky, and the head and claws are distorted. However, it has a much much better tail
