Hard to type correctly on the forum

Sounds to me like Firefox may be the culprit... maybe it updated recently and there is some incompatibility.
Is anyone experiencing this typing issue on a browser other than Firefox?

Curiously, I just experienced this exact same issue on the STS forum! But I'm not using Firefox. Now, I wonder if it may be caused by dodgy advertisements loading in the background.

I still haven't experienced it here, though, I'm typing now just fine.

I have this problem all the time.  I just thought there was something wrong with my keyboard.  It happens everytime I write a sentence.

I don't know if there any relationship between the two, but I have noticed the last few days that there is a change in how "Show unread posts since last visit" appears on my iPhone.  Instead of the line of options expressed in words like "Home, help, rules" etc, I now see just icons.  Confusingly several of these icons are simply question marks, so if you don't know what they are by position, you can't identify them other than by clicking on them.  The formatting of the list of unread posts is also different.  But sometimes the old layout with verbal options is still popping up instead.

@ceratopsian The person who developed the responsive theme modification I use updated the mod, which is the cause of this change. I tried to revert to the old mod but was unable to, it is incompatible. So we'll just have to accept the icons in mobile view for now, sorry, I agree they are not very helpful. If I find time to play with the code myself I might try and change it manually.

I'm using Firefox.

I too am using frefox. I will attempt using chrome and explorer later.

Ok, so far only Firefox users are experiencing this problem, so I'm pretty sure it is some Firefox incompatibility. It might be a Firefox add-on. If you have any Firefox add-ons, could you try removing them temporarily to see if one of them is the cause? Once we have identified the cause of the incompatibility I can troubleshoot this end.

I have had the same problem, including while typing this post. I am using Microsoft Edge. I will try Chrome and see what happens.

I have upgraded the PHP version the site runs on, to see if that helps, please let me know if this has an effect.

Same problem re jt now type this note toDr. Adin.  (That's how the uncorrected sentence appears.)  Here it is corrected:  Same problem here with it as I now type this note to Dr. Admin.  I also use Firefox.  I don't experience the problem elwhre (elsewhere) than on this forum.  Mine started around two weeks ago.

Did you Firefox users try the link I posted up-thread? I can't fix this until I know what the incompatibility is, so I need you guys to do a bit of troubleshooting your end.
