I got a dump of stuff that was shared on the JWE subreddit from a gameplay video of the developer build that was leaked or revealed too early and got taken down (it was from a youtuber that played the game).
Spoiler

Spoiler tagging this all because it hasn't been officially revealed as of yet:

Video clip from it showing snowstorm (and snowy terrain), Carnotaurus, and Allosaurus, and Parasaurolophus at the water: https://reddit.com/r/jurassicworldevo/comments/pbaudn/dinosaur_footage_from_gameplay_preview/

Here's a screencap of the Allosaurus someone took (kind of surprised they didn't go with the BaBR/Dominon design though, but it does look better then the one in the first game at least):

https://reddit.com/r/jurassicworldevo/comments/pb8a8y/allo_looking_better/

Log confirmed:

https://reddit.com/r/jurassicworldevo/comments/pbb61o/log_confirmed/

Here's a look at the hatchery menu which shows Struthiomimus will be returning (and confirmation that there's 74 species, perhaps land only? as we know from the Steam page there's 75+ in it):

https://reddit.com/r/jurassicworldevo/comments/pbc89u/struthiomimus/

Actually here's a copy of the video someone re-uploaded that I found in one of the thread's comments:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cw7oRRsE178

Lots of returning characters (including their voice actors and actresses), and ui sounds, etc. Really worth checking out before that might get removed too.

Edit: The comfort requirements for at least the Carnotaurus has been changed. We knew about sand earlier from the Dimorphodon's reveal, but seeing prey now as well almost reminds me of JPOG.

There was also a quick look at the terrain tools as well, and there's at least 6 textures for terrain painting. Also get to see a dead deer that an Allosaurus had clearly killed! A look at the paleo-med facility as well. Also a look at the different tree brushes. Definitely shaping up to being much better then the first so far.

Right you are. Game is releasing November 9th. Here is a trailer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isKS2-xa5-8

Spoiler

Majungasaurus is back too! Was that Tropeognathus too?! Our first look at the Mosasaurus eating, and its glorious. Omg they have the San Deigo arena too! I am so excited.

Just as I was updating my personal list, it looks like I need to do a few more edits after this dropped (which I plan to update on here as well). The combat and hunts look amazing too, but gonna need more in game playthrough footage of how all that works.

Edit: Not sure where these originated from but several more new species (including more pterosaurs and a marine reptile):

https://old.reddit.com/r/jurassicworldevo/comments/pbi8vy/new_dinos_and_marine_reptile/

Edit: They originated from the steam announcement:
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1244460/view/2978555415692682488

Spoiler
We also have Attenborosaurus, Geosternbergia, Pachyrhinosaurus, Huayangosaurus (returning), and Megalosaurus now too. Lots of ones I love here.

Edit: All Deluxe pack animals. Might be a separate DLC later on like with the first game, who knows. Also some pre-order exclusive TLW themed vehicle skins. And after seeing the specs needed to run this game on PC, I may as well forget getting this game, because who knows how long I may have to keep waiting until the time is right for me to afford something better.

Another edit: Over an hour's worth of gameplay from BestinSlot, including hatching a Mosasaurus:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJb74RnnK2M

Edit 3?: Cearadactylus (which was in the novel), and Plesiosaurus confirmed in BestinSlot's video so far, and looks to be in TheGamingBeaver's video(s) that I linked below judging from the thumbnail. I will be watching all these next and will continue to update as need be.

Edit 4: Okay so in my earlier post where I showed the screenshot of the Struthiomimus and where it said 74 species, I saw in BestinSlot's video in regards to the Lagoon hatchery (around the 51:50 mark), it showed 7/74 species unlocked there. So maybe that's all that's in this dev build currently, so looks like I'll need to go back and correct the op with that information. Going back to the 10:48 mark and it shows in the regular dinosaur hatchery 6/74 species unlocked.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3eZA8-gvtU

Edit 5?: Compsognathus spotted at 20:53 (poor thing almost looked to get ran over, if that were a thing), so another animal confirmed now.

I'll be adding more as I find them, as well as any new species that pop up (saw in a reddit comment Plesiosaurus was seen in the above video. Watching it now, but haven't gotten to that point. I'll update this as I see it, and anything else. Edit: Confirmed).

TheGamingBeaver has two videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEHjoiF7SSw

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjiZE73iTdg

GameInformer has a video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VECQ70f9fM

There are some others from folks I'm not as familiar with. Easy to find them by searching Jurassic World Evolution 2 gameplay, and filtering by upload date.

My last update for today (hopefully). Would have edited the previous post but I think this is substantial enough for its own post and it has enough as it is.

https://old.reddit.com/r/jurassicworldevo/comments/pbjn1b/crossing_eras/hac71fx/

JensErik confirmed that mixed era's (a long requested feature for the first game, and eventually modded in) will be available in Sandbox mode for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. PS4 and Xbox One will have separate Jurassic World and Jurassic Park themes like with the first game (with the RtJP DLC). Really glad to see so many requested features and quality of life things getting in this game.

And here I was just about to concede to playing this on my PS4 instead of waiting until I can get a PS5. Ugh. I mean, I guess it's not that big of a deal...

That is a real bummer, and it seems unnecessary. I'm planning on playing the game on my X-box One.

I have no desire to get a gaming PC.

Ichthyosaurus has been confirmed, and we got our first look at Cearadactylus as well (screenshots are from reddit posts):

Edit: Here's a clip from the Future Games Show, showing off these two new reptiles, as well as a new environment - temperate, with rain weather:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1qgWNWn81g

Edit 2: Forgot to share this earlier actually, but here's some confirmation of sorts that the Indominus rex is returning (perhaps obvious, but nonetheless nice to have evidence of such, aside from the ambiguous Dr. Wu hybrids the Struthiomimus apparently dislikes, seen in the various gameplay videos shared yesterday):

https://old.reddit.com/r/jurassicworldevo/comments/pbtupy/dont_know_if_this_has_been_mentioned_but/

In any case I've updated the op with this addition of the Ichthyosaurus and Indominus rex, as well as to all my lists (quite time consuming, especially the more that gets revealed, but worth having around to keep track of everything).

Frontier is livestreaming gameplay right now. Watching it so figured I would share:

Edit: Just revealed there's a batch delete feature and a way to move buildings! Just awesome.

Edit 2: Sorry folks for not providing this earlier, but timestamp info for the point about bulk delete was at 1:16:50, and 1:17:20 for moving buildings.

A bit of a late renponse but WOW. I am genuinely impressed, this is what the original game should have been. I see a lot of improvements and new features.
It could still go wrong but...I do think something good will come out of this.

I dont have consoles, I am a Mac user and my "gaming pc" is just a laptop with windows 8 that I inherited from my aunt. Guess I will have to check if I can upgrade it to windows 10 somehow or I won't be able to play it.

Still, just an advice for everyone. DO NOT preorder, DO NOT pay in advance (I never done that, but for those who might be tempted to do so). Even if it turns out good (which I think it will), after what happened with the first one I won't give the benefit of the doubt to Frontier.

Also, belive it or not, I only started playing the original about a year ago and i haven't spent that much time on it and I am still in the Isla Muerta part of the campaign. Should I bother to continue?

I'm a day late with sharing this, sorry. Back to a returning species for this field guide with Tyrannosaurus:

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/species-field-guide-t-rex.589732/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkZ_IawaGUk

Helpful info from JensErik_Frontier over on reddit:

QuoteT. rex is happy solitary, so if you think of it in terms of social requirements they are happy to be on their own.

However, they CAN be in groups so like the pair you saw in the species field guide. Naturally if things aren't good they could fight.

So in short, yes they can be a pair.

I think its interesting that they can be in pairs, but if their needs aren't being met they could end up fighting. A step above how the first game handled this animal.

Nice lost world reference in the video. Been binge watching these field guides and wow the animations have really improved compared to the last game. So unique and just life-like (or movie like I should say).

Grimbeard

While in terms of graphics the improvments are only rather minor, the improved diversitiy and scope of the animals and ESPECIALLY of the behaviour look great. Love the various displays of non-aggressive/leathal interspecies interactions.

I played the first the game extensivly, especially after mods really got going. TBH, I'm more interested in playing this as a "animal conservation" or rather "wildlife recreation game".  Having the (modded) dinosaurs run wild and interact with each other while simply watching them. This will be a nice gap filler until Prehistoric Kingdom gets released next year.

The park management parts are far less important for me, but nice to see this get improved as well.

For me it is the same. The Park Management is something i am not looking forward. I have no fun in that. But i feel good for everyone, that wants that in the Game.

Moreover it is Frontier. Frontier always talks a lot before a Release and often... they lie and fail in delivering. *coughs in Elite Dangerous* But lets hope for the Best. But i can't remember a Time anymore, when Games were just like they told it will be. Or at least "finished".

It is really sad for me, that this is a licensed Game overall. They already have Planet Zoo. I would have loved a full priced DLC on prehistoric Life, implemented in Planet Zoo. But in the End, Prehistoric Kingdom will do that. I hope :D A nice Alpha/Beta does not make a great Release in the end.

I have a serious Question to a few others here. Playing a Game like JW Evolution on a Console. How is that? How is that playing? I can't imagine a Park Builder or Manager via Controller. I play a lot with Controller (Yes, even Shooter. I do not play competitive or online.). But These Kind of Games are so much better with a Mouse. Is it working, or is it more of an "Uh, i would need to build this paddock, but i just have it the necessary Stuff, because building takes so much time." ? On the other Hand, Evolution it not a great game, when it comes to creating great Landscapes.

I am really curious. Building or building a capable PC at the Moment, is also far from possible for a normal Person. Even if you want to. The Prices even for old old old Tech is insane. Insane. But i completely understand the lack of interest or motivation for a PC for gaming.

Gwangi

avatar_Kapitaenosavrvs @Kapitaenosavrvs, I play JW:E on a console and have absolutely no issues or frustrations with it, aside from a few that I think are just inherent in the game. I'm usually able to seamlessly create whatever I have in my mind.
