Man, I'm loving what w-dragon has been doing. Ultimately I don't know if it's for me but I still think it's been awesome work.

Lovely models and hopefully they won't cost a fortune. Also seems like Wdragon are trying to pump these out fast due to the other competition. Wonder what they will produce next besides these two.

I'd love to see a set of 1/35 Pteranodons, but I know it's impossible  :(

I'm not sure how I feel about these, they look to be based on the computer models more than the animatronics which look a bit different.

I noticed this too, mainly with the Tyrannosaurus. Somewhat disappointing but I am glad the Spinosaurus has some of its bulk left like Wdragon's previous version.

Never know since competition is growing. I would just hope for the JP3 style and not the JW.

That's a shame as it is more noticeable around the snout in my opinion.

I understand W-Dragon.. the fight between Rex and Spino is cgi, so makes sense they go for this look

CGI and animatronics were both present in the fight scene. Sure CGI was mainly used throughout it, but really the animatronics were present too. Especially when you look back at the behind the scenes of the movie. Most likely W-Dragon used the CGI renders to get an easier scan followed by print for the models.

The one that really bothers me the most is the rex. Feel like its missing that sort of shorter snout the males have in the JP franchise. This one reminds me of the slender cut like the JW rex head has. But just a nitpick. Still think these models are beautiful.
Edit: Forgot to mention that the CGI'd rex has that slender cut, as compared to its bulkier animatronic counterpart. That is really the issue, not on Wdragon's part.

Wanchangtang's new product Spinosaurus is designed based on the industrial light and magic CGI Spinosaurus. This is the first time that the Jurassic Park series Spinosaurus appears in the periphery of the movie model with an accurate CGI image, so we should do our best. Make this model perfect.

This model of spinosaurus can perfectly correspond to the CGI spinosaurus in the movie, whether it is body proportion, head shape, teeth, claw sheath, fold details, and even every scale. The shapes are clearly distinguished, and feel the feelings while having a sense of freshness. The tyrannosaurus skull element on the ground also shows the past battles of Spinosaurus. It is worth mentioning that the skull was also accurately made based on the head shape of the Tyrannosaurus in Jurassic Park 3. This work is the sincere work of our team. The release of this product is also to share the joy of our development team, I hope everyone will like it.

Once again, thank you avatar_blnadal @blnadal for the updates.

So it is confirmed, their Spinosaurus is based on CGI models, along with the rex, which then again it is no big deal. Slight differences between CGI and animatronics.

One nitpick I have so far is the base for the Spinosaurus. Seems cool and most likely beautiful when in hand, but why the rex skull? I thought this pair represents the exact JP3 fight scene?

I have no idea, maybe Spinosaurus hobby is kill every T-Rex on the island?  ;D

And some other info:
Full resin statues
The two models are limited to 500 pieces respectively 2021 Shipped at the end of December

Over9K

Being fully licensed probably means W-Dragon had access to CGI assets... perhaps even to the point of it being part of the license that they USE those assets...

May not get one. I never saw the Indoraptor on any other site. You do get a break it being Australian Dollars though.

Does Dan not have a preorder open for the Mosasaurus? Or does he plan to?
