C @CarnotaurusKing Kaatdedocus has been recently reinterpreted as a Dicreosaurid.

I see, thanks.

Hi! I inform you that on our Facebook page there are recent photos of the Kaatedocus siberi prototype from DinoZoo Collectibles Figures Regarding the figure, the painting model will be revealed this week or next week. The figure will go on sale in October this year. Pricing will not be announced yet, maybe 1 more week. The material of the figure will be of high quality resin. Greetings!

High quality resin sounds expensive.

Hi! It may sound expensive, but really the figure will have a very good price compared to the quality of the Kaatedocus

It will not be brittle resin, it will cost less than $ 70 for sure.

Interesting. We need more and different sauropods, IMO.

Greetings to all.

It is an honor to be able to present this new project of scientifically correct dinosaur figures and prehistoric creatures.

What is DinoZoo?

DinoZoo is a small three-part project that seeks scientific precision in figures of dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures.

Those who participate?

- Luis Figueroa creator of the project
- Christopher Chávez Main 3d modeler of DinoZoo figures
- Manuel Jaramillo Draftsman and illustrator of different production sketches.
We look forward to your approval and support for this small project.

Right now we are working on the production of our first figure.

The model of the figure is being created by Christopher Chavez (https://web.facebook.com/PaleoKhris)

The model is advised by the paleontologist Roberto Diaz Sibaja

Please ellaborate on your claim "scientific precision" and "scientifically correct", non of the sculpts I see in the link above, including the ones you promoting here look nearly scientifically OR even anatomically correct. They all look prematurely sculpted, lacking in artistic and realism aspects. I'm just wondering on what basis you are making those claims?
The term "scientifically correct" is not an advertising handle, you should be able to back it up.

Hello, I hope you are well.

I think you're confused

Some Christopher models are not accurate because they are custom commissions from clients, of which they ask for a certain modification in the dinosaur.

On the other hand, our models for DinoZoo have scientific precision, for example the Kaatedocus is precise but there is a small error that the neck should be a little longer, but it would affect the stability of the final figure.

And our Stegourus is approved by several Chilean paleontologists, considering it one of the best representations.

Greetings, have a good day

Slow down there. I'm not sure how you can't see any of Chavez's sculpts being accurate, surely you were using hyperbole? The following statements also come off as rather targeted and not at all constructive criticism.
On and off dinosaur collecting phases over the span of millions of years has led me to this very forum.

Yes! DinoZoo and Wild Past are in a great collaboration

ceratopsian

So pleased D @Doctor Velociraptor! I didn't miss out on the Kaatedocus after all. I've already ordered one from Wild Past for Martin Garratt to paint for me.

Exciting news, and I'm looking forward to seeing the physical models painted. I'm quite fond of how the paint scheme on the artwork looks too!

However, the difference in scale detail evident on the original digital sculpt versus the 1:35 version. Hope to see how much detail is captured on physical copies of the 1:18 one.

Concavenator

I hope this serves as constructive criticism.

First, I'll highlight the strong points (I will be referring to the Kaatedocus as it's the only released figure at the moment AFAIk). The sculpt is great, and I also appreciate the work that went into accuracy. The genus choice is certainly daring, and between it and the upcoming releases, DinoZoo have shown they aren't afraid of paying attention to overlooked creatures. I hope they stay the same in these aspects.

The negative aspect, for me, is the paint application. From what I have seen it looks a bit sloppy, I think an effort in improving this aspect would be very appreciated, specially considering its price (with 55 $ you can buy 2 Eofauna figures and if you include the shipping costs, which I don't know how much they are, you could also buy 1 PNSO ML, or you could buy at least 1 BotM raptor or, depending on the size, a ceratopsian or tyrannosaur, or several  Safari and / or CollectA figures). IIRC one of the reasons behind the pricing is the fact that it's made of resin, but regardless, I still think the paint application could be handled better. Ideally their figures would be made of PVC so they would be more affordable (and less fragile). @paleoaeolos on Instagram shared this pic of the Kaatedocus with refined paint app which looks a lot better than the original paint app if you ask me:

Just my 2 cents. Looking forward to what this line has to offer in the future.
