What are you still waiting on the definitive version of?

Halichoeres

avatar_ITdactyl @ITdactyl Yes please to all of those. Safari might do it, they've revisited some of the iconic pterosaurs recently. It's really strange that in spite of their fame, Pterodactylus and Ornithocheirus have no readily available, reasonably up-to-date figures.

I don't think the more horizontal neck of the PNSO Mamenchisaurus is an inaccuracy.  I'm not aware of anything stopping them from having their necks in that position.  How would they drink if they couldn't move their neck down?

Well, of course they would have drunk dew from trees. That should yield more than enough water for a several-ton organism. Kidding aside, that's a good point; it likely wasn't the standard resting posture, but its range of motion would have included this angle.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Hey, that's fun to chant. Also, I want one.

John Conway seems to have "thoughts" about the horizontal mamenchisaurus. :D

(that'd be a shipping nightmare as a toy)

avatar_Newt @Newt , yes...an Eryops... so much yes! I collect pterosaurs mostly, but I'd be happy to own a replica of Mr. placidfacedchunkyboi.  I wonder how people'd react if Papo makes one in a BLEP or MLEM pose....

Loon

The Kaiyodo Eryops is pretty good. Though, it's a little older, so maybe it's innaccurate in some way now?

Faelrin

A new (and larger then the Kaiyodo) Eryops would be great too see. I'm also surprised at the lack of up to date Pteradactylus and Ornithocheirus figures (or is it Tropeognathus now?). Rhamphorhynchus and Tupandactylus and/or Tapejara would be nice to see get updated as well.

I think it would be more compact, including a shorter tail.

Oh, interesting. I'm guessing the Paleozoo figure is probably the most accurate for now.

Shonisaurus

We need a unique and definitive version of the caulkicephalus and the ludodactylus are two pterosaurs that I sincerely wish they made as collectible figures.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

I'm waiting for someone to make a single Halszkaraptor
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Flaffy

If only Mojo put the same amount of care and research into the limb anatomy of the Mamenchisaurus.
But hey, it's still their best sauropod figure. Hopefully 2021 will see a rise in quality as seen in 2020.

Faelrin

avatar_Gothmog the Baryonyx @Gothmog the Baryonyx Same here. I really hope we get one in the coming years. Such an interesting dromaeosaurid or some such, and pretty good remains for the most part. Hopefully this year or the coming years it gets some attention. Additionally other then the Beasts of the Mesozoic Buitreraptor, its relatives have been pretty neglected.

And here is the outdated nonsense reconstruction that PNSO used for reference, photographed by Instagram / Tumblr user Tsaagan:

Wow, that's almost as bad as the old Yale Brontosaurus skull. Based on nothing but imagination. It almost looks like a toothy hadrosaur.

I'm still waiting for Kulindadromeus as well. Easily one of the most interesting smaller ornithischians to me.

On that note I am sorely in need of a Dryosaurus and Nanosaurus/Othnielia/Drinker (I realize that Nanosaurus has precedence but I have nostalgia for Othnelia, and Drinker is an interesting name too) at this point. At least CollectA did a figure of a Hypsilophodon family, but I wouldn't mind seeing another or more done of it. Maybe CollectA can surprise us with one of those this year. To be honest I am surprised we have not at least gotten Kulindadromeus from them yet. Seems like a prime candidate for them, if not PNSO perhaps if they were to do more of the Little Dinosaurs figures.

I've been going through my collection recently, and I can say that quite a few figures I own could use updates:

Europasaurus
Mamenchisaurus
Carcharodontosaurus
Shonisaurus
Monolophosaurus
Cryolophosaurus
Kelenken

I've looked everywhere for a Carcha alas only resin kits exist for a good model.

It's a shame really, I'm hoping after this Giga phase we're going through that these companies start focusing on the other giant.

Yeah, I wouldn't call that one the "definitive" version of Charcharodontosaurus.
like a bantha!

I am still waiting for....
-Megalosaurus, reading through the whole entire thread makes me convinced this is one of the most wanted figures!
-Yutyrannus, slightly biased being one of my favorite dinosaurs. I have Safari's and its alright. Would like to see PNSO do one, if I am not wrong they teased about doing one?
-Utahraptor, surprised we have not gotten a newer one of these. I have seen Rebor's in person and I just don't like it, sorry.
-Parasaurolophus, again Safari's is alright. Would like to see one made by PNSO since they are making fantastic hadrosaurs.
-An updated Euplocephalus would be nice.
-Moganopterus? I don't think this pterasaur has a figure yet?
