Taung child is one of the best artists i know. He has all kinds of styles, he does techno, relaxing, neon, classical, you name it! And he is so much like Benjamin Bartlett, the guy who made the Walking with Dinosaurs series themes. avatar_Reuben03 @Reuben03 , amazing job!

Ahhh thanks so much! yeah I make Dub, IDM, Psychedelic and all sorts of stuff. Will be branching out into Folk as well.
if u make paleo-content I take commissions if u need my weird music for some reason haha. I love to compose music in the style of WWD too!

This guy has made quite an impression on me when I listened to his albums Ouroboros and Part of the Light. I listen to them as concept albums. I think he is a great musician and wonderful tunesmith.

By Lucas King. Very calm and sad melodies. I think it is actually even now.

From that dreary little island off the coast of Europe? :P

Anyway, at the moment I am quite fascinated by the harrowing beauty of a very dark symphony called "Asrael" (the angel of death, I believe) by the Czech composer Josef Suk. I just recently discovered this (generally neglected - also in the world of classical music) masterpiece. It has a wealth of wonderful themes and melodies. I especially love the lusciously beautiful melody that just soars up to heaven in the middle of the Vivace (Movement III), but which descends into raucous, loud, menacing music, after which the Adagio tries to find peace and resignation..

Grandaddy is one of my favourite bands of all time. I wish more people knew them.

Don't blame me, I came of age in the 90s. This is the opening track of The Prodigy's 1994 album 'Music for the Jilted Generation'. One to crank up on a Friday night. Does anybody know of any bands making music like this today?

Farewell, Jeff Beck (1944-2023) - you've been a huge inspiration!

AFAIK Prodigy really is one of a kind in many regards - especially the way they married electronic music with a punk-like aesthetic. Fatboy Slim and Junkie XL come to mind.

And perhaps stuff like Grendel, Hocico and Combichrist are to your liking? Hoovers more towards industrial/metal though.

DinoToyForum

Some more Grandaddy. These three tracks go together as a trio.
