avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy I got this one last year along with several very obscure plush Cambrian invertebrates and even a Gerrothorax. There may even be others I don't know about.

Thanks for that info avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin. I was not aware that a Diplocaulus was next in line, that's exciting.

Ah of course how could I forget TST Advance's offerings. Been quite a while since we've had anything new from them.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy I went looking for that green plushie on Mercari, because it reminded me of the little bath bomb figure I recently learned about, and turns out the same series that inspired it has a plushie as well, but well still left with wondering how that other green Diplocaulus plushie came to be.

Here's a previously sold listing showing what I mean though:

And more info here on some other plushies related to that one.

This all reminds me about the fact that I need to get on my very cluttered closet and get my prehistoric animal plushies out.

Yeah, five years or more? I wonder why that is. All the same, they have a pretty ample variety.

Dawww, now that's just an adorable thing now is it? Definitely need more plush prehistorics in my collection. Been putting off getting Paleozoic Pals for ages...

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin nope, these will be my first. I probably won't even keep them, maybe give 'em to one of my friends' kids. I pledged while the Oumcraft minis were still in progress, as a hedge to make sure I had an Astraspis. The Oumcraft minis mean I have very few plushes of any kind left, since they replaced so many of the TST Advance ones.

Fembrogon

Heads up: new pterosaur plush dropping on March 11th:

Quote from: LittleSofts CollabsHave you met Dearc sgiathanach? He is a mid-Jurassic Pterosaur discovered in Scotland, and our little poseable plushie version was designed by
@WryCritic [Natalia Jagielska], one of the paleontologists who named and described his species!

Our little "Scottie" will be available March 11th, noon EST!

Fembrogon

My shipping notice for Scottie the Dearc came today. If anyone is interested in this fella, he's now in stock!

EmperorDinobot

OH! So cute. Yeah I'll take a Dearc.

Libraraptor

What a sweet little Hallucigenia plush buddy!

ItsTwentyBelow

I have to say, that Dearc is very cool overall. It's not a bad price (the Palaeoplushies Dearc is more expensive and currently unavailable anyway), this one was designed by a paleontologist who worked with the fossil, and to top it all off I've got a bit of Scottish heritage myself.

So, Scottie is on his way to my mailbox!

Flaffy

Some cool museum exclusive plushes that I've only just been made aware of. I'm certainly interested in a few myself, and one or two has good potential to be added to the USL. avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres no fishes this time unfortunately, but any potential additions to the "best figure of every species" cast? ;)

Probably have been posted before when the exhibition was still live in 2018, but in case it hasn't: Dinosaurs in the Wild plushes. Really wish I grabbed the Alamosaurus plush now...

Huh, some of those I'm not aware of having been made in any other toy format. The lack of Plesiadapis is surprising in one respect, since it's so famous as a stem-primate, but unsurprising in that it's sort of a nondescript arboreal mammal. I don't know of any other Paramylodon toys either (although there was a very ugly Mylodon in the DinoFroz line). Anyway, plushes are usually outside my purview, but some of these are definitely interesting.

Edited to add: Paleozoic Pals has a new Kickstarter campaign for a Diplocaulus plush: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1591542039/diplocaulus-plushie-a-new-paleozoic-pal/description

It's already funded on its first day, and it's well on its way to unlocking the stretch goal Bandringa. That will be the first toy Bandringa I know of, although at least one resin model also exists. Bandringa is enough to tempt me.
