Rebor Diplodocus carnegii "CATCH THE RAINBOW" & "STARGAZER"

I have the Rebor Retro T-Rex and Deinosucchus which have no obvious tail seam, but I've seen a lot of Youtube reviews on other Rebor dinosaurs and the tail seam is obvious. Maybe the Youtube guys are not pushing the tails completely, but the seam is in most of the Rebor Youtubes I've seen by different guys.

Is it an illusion of the angles or do different pics of the same figure appear to be in different poses. Do we think it might have a 'bendable' neck and/or tail, with wires?

I've suspected the same. It takes quite a bit of force to get them in right, temperature matters too, you can even apply some lubricant to get it go a bit easier, water works for that.

Im still trying to cut back on my dinosaur related purchases this year, but a sizable sauropod from the likes of REBOR is too rare a treat to pass up! Got my order in for Staegazer! We'll see if I can be tempted to add Rainbow to that...

Interestingly enough there's a third option for an unpainted copy with both heads included, not unlike the great rexes David did for the BotM Tyrannosaurs. Pretty nifty for those handy with a brush, and I'm excited to see what people do with it!

Hopefully the Deinosuchus doesn't overlap with this, since that has a similar eta. Don't know if I could handle both around the same time, even if it is a few months from now. But whatever I'll pre-order it, and can cancel if need be, and always try my luck with one of them later.

I was thinking the same thing! Don't usually go for extinct crocs but the more I see of that figure, the more I like it. Plus the applachiosaurus carcass

I've been waiting to get my hands on it, since well back when it was initially revealed, and prior to the re-sculpt. Same with the Sarcosuchus.

32.48 x 4.92 inches (82.5cm x 12.5cm). Is that correct? This thing is nearly 3 feet long? Or 0.825 of a meter? That's like nearly as big as the Mattel Mosasaurus I think. I think that's also way too big to be 1/35 scale?

Closer to 1:31 scale for an 85 foot animal by my calculations, but by REBOR standards that's not horribly oversized.

32.48 inches would be 94.7 feet or 28.9 meters at 1:35, the wikipedia article on Diplodocus gives a length estimate (with citations) of 24-26 m for Diplodocus carnegii so the model is a bit large, but it also gives an estimate of 29-32 meters for Diplodocus hallorum so us scale sticklers can just think of it as hallorum rather than carnegii.

@Carnoking Thanks for the scale estimate. Guess I kind of underestimated how big Diplodocus itself was, or long rather. Wasn't this also based directly on Dippy as well? Wiki says that cast is 10 meters (33 feet) long. I also just learned Dippy itself is a composite of several Diplodocus and other sauropod specimens. Interesting.

Anyways, I wonder if this would fit nicely alongside their Ceratosaurus, Saurophaganax, and Stegosaurus (the latter two of which I'm still behind on)?

Edit: D @dinofelid Thanks for sharing the info on that as well. That may be good for folks, as I don't think there's a single intended figure of D. hallorum out there currently is there?

I'm tempted, though I currently have an armful of Diplodocus figures. I'm sure that the seam will drive some people bonkers, but I'm not too distracted by it, fortunately.
