Collect Jurassic shared some HD pics of the Wave 3 Danger Packs (with some new views). The Borealopelta is easily the star of the bunch, but the Ornithocheirus also looks great too (aside from the missing teeth, and extra digits on the hands), and does indeed have pycnofibers. The Dakosaurus adds to ever growing variety of the marine reptiles. Chances are I might just shell out for the entire case, assuming it goes up for pre-order on BBTS or Entertainment Earth. The only one I don't really need is the raptor, but maybe it'll look better in hand.

Jurassicjango on instagram has also managed to find the 30th anniversary stuff at a Target in Ohio. So keep your eyes peeled, since it appears they are finally getting out there.

Edit: Collect Jurassic has found them now too. Said the floor date is April 16th. Good luck with finding them.

30th stuff is hit or miss tbh - I love what Mattel TRIED, but the guns... ugh. they're just so big, none of my 3.75 scale humans take them well (Boss Fight Studios, Mattel, Marauder Gun Runners). I feel like they leaned too hard on the pandering to the collectors who are blinded by nostalgia and forgot why these things went out of fashion.

Don't get me wrong, the new dinos are decent, the car is stellar, and I'm sure the rex is stellar too, but I just feel we could've cut costs a bit on useless giant guns for better paint. and a third set maybe? Still baffled why Ellie or even Muldoon didn't get figures here. I don't think '93 Classic needs every character (what would you do with Hammond? A cane to fight dinosaurs?), butt Muldoon and Ellie lend themselves to more of an action figure-y nature.

I found one set of the "Prehistoric Bugs in Sand" for $3 today at Target. Totally worth it to have officially licensed JP insects! These will make great scene accents and dino snacks. Looks like you get one of each: ant, mosquito, and dragonfly. It works out well because each of these types of critters were around during the Mesozoic and surely were common dino snacks in reality! The mosquito is of course important to the franchise overall and with the dragonfly, you can well enough recreate the scene from the book where a Meganeura lands on Tim's arm.

What would be mildly cool is if they put out a larger portion and color of sand at $3 that contained one larger prehistoric bug close to scale with the humans, like an Arthropleura. I used a lab tray to contain the sand and it was actually kind of fun to have my HC Dilophosaurus "paw" at the sand as it crumbled, to "get" at the bug. Yes, I played with the sand before throwing it out  ;D

hey so due to lack of space I am mostly focusing on the minis, a couple of HC's and Nanmus when it comes to JP figures. Im a bit confused about the minis list on the first page, which code is the one that lets you know what figure is inside the box? Some of the figures like kentrosaurus/suchomimus have 2 codes given.

The first ones are the codes on the boxes that you want. The second set of codes are the Mattel product codes on the little trays inside them. Similar to the product codes on most of their other figures.

Flaffy

That bright blue DNA tab is very distracting... You'd think they would at least try to colour match it better.

thanks!
still crossing my fingers for an HC carnotaurus before the line gets canned. :P

DinoFan2010

Nice! with a little customization, it could be a great HC Allosaurus. :))

Looks like there is currently a sale on the previously hard to find Hammond Collection 2 Pack JP3 Alan Grant with Female Raptor on Amazon; from $29.99 to $26.61.

Dromaenychus

Hammond collection John Hammond, Metriacanthosaurus, and Juvenile T-Rex are up for preorder on Amazon (US) and have shipping dates of early-mid May.

Apparently a new wave of minis just got stealth released? Have never seen this sculpt in the mainline before, and am as equally perplexed as OP as to what species this is. Source: PaleoCollector

The rest of the wave. Guess I'll be tracking down another two sets then (Mystery theropod + Pentaceratops and Albertosaurus + Tupandactylus)

Gwangi

Well it's definitely an abelisaurids. Maybe Skorpiovenator?

Carnoking

Skorpiovenator was my first guess but I wouldn't be surprised if it was something else entirely. Perhaps an ugly Carcharodontosaur of some sort

Skorpiovenator was my first guess too. Paleocollector has also shared more of the codes and pics for Wave 2:

I'll update the op once I have the internet back on and can access the forum on my laptop again.

I definitely want the set with that mystery critter and Pentaceratops.

Anyways codes here for folks that don't want to open the link:
SD02E Indominus
SD05E Dilophosaurus Quetzalcoatlus
SD07E Skorpiovenator? Pentaceratops
SD08E Kentrosaurus Baryonyx
SD09E Sarcosuchus Iguanodon

Edit: Oops missed that avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy shared all this above already. Oh well.

Edit: May as well share that the Borealopelta, and Dakosaurus have in box (backside) pics now:

6-7" ?  Rough guess based on the card and previous releases.
