Leaning towards River too, since Deinosuchus already has a cooler colour scheme. River's warmer tones will complement both Deinosuchuses nicely.

avatar_REBOR_STUDIO @REBOR_STUDIO any chance of an adult Nigersaurus?

SenSx

Oh wow, I did not like the colorfull version of the Deinosuchus, but this time i love the Sarchosuchus one.

Just to be crystal clear: the Deinosuchus probably was too big for 1/35 scale, but Sarchosochus is even in a worse situation since it wasn't as big as the previous one right ? (from the latest estimations)

Faelrin

Saw the Nigersaurus colorations posted on instagram. Definitely leaning towards the River Sarcosuchus version. Not really in much of a position to collect things now sadly, but maybe it's still a bit of a wait to be had hopefully. Had to cancel my Deinosuchus and Diplodocus pre-orders for the same reason.

I like the warm tones of the river variant but find the spots on the face to be a bit distracting. Of course, it would contrast the Deinosuchus nicely. Decisions, decisions.

yeah the lake version looks too much like the Deinosuchus i have..and those large face spots are a bit much, they needed to be smaller or maybe more of a pattern?

Could you maybe change that avatar_Over9K @Over9K?

I'm a stickler too... but still human... and fixed.

Both variants are beautiful, although like many have said I too am leaning toward the River variant, as it does contrast better, although not a huge fan of the spots on the snout. The River variant reminds me of a false gharial which is a cool reference weather intentional or not.

On the contrary, I'm quite fond of the bold patternings on River. It's more than likely Tomistoma was used as inspiration for the colour scheme as avatar_Pliosaurking @Pliosaurking suggested, the markings are practically identical. Bonus for me as it's one of my favourite extant crocodilians.

That was my immediate thought too
Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy Wow yeah that's like a spot on take. Good eye on that.

I'll definitely be picking up the River colorscheme.

I originally passed on the Deinosuchus due to the possibility of waiting on the Sarcosuchus colorscheme reveal to be soon. Glad I stuck to it.

I really wish Rebor would do something like a crocodilian line. They've proven to make some good interpretations of prehistoric crocodilians, minor nitpicks and inaccuracies here and there, but otherwise they look beautiful.

I am also just waiting on their American Alligator to go along with my skull :o

Both versions just popped up on BBTS. Can't go for it this year I'm afraid. Hope I can get one next year. Love the orange one. Edit: August 2023 ETA.

Words can't express just how damn nice that figure is, REBOR is giving some great figures for species that have been lacking as of late.

Now that I think about it, potential scale discrepancy aside, I think this would look great next to PNSO's Suchomimus, if positioned correctly. Like with the Sarcosuchus jaw opened looks as it if it is looking upwards, and PNSO's could be looking downwards, with the position of its head and neck turned. It should definitely lend itself well to toy photography. Need to pick up both next year to test this out, but if anyone beats me to the punch, I will eagerly anticipate it.

Just got done watching DinosNDragons video on this. It's too bad it doesn't scale well with the other Elrhaz formation figures out there, but it's still a really nice figure for what it is.

Also had this idea I shared over on in the comments of the video, but sharing here too:

I think it would be really cool if Rebor could do another base pack for these two pseudosuchians in particular, like they did with their other one that worked with Tusk/Kiss, etc. Would be really nice if they could pull of the water look they did before with the Ceratosaurus long ago, that's one of my favorite bases from them still due to its versatility.

The warped lower jaw is very unfortunate with how spenny Rebor products are.
