I have a lot of nostalgia for those Castagna statues. My father had the whole set! The Pteranodon is my favorite, and very tempting.

I have some such packages that I haven't even opened yet, in some cases for years! I was saving them for a Youtube unboxing that never came. I'll unbox them eventually on the blog, by which time I'll have forgotten what's in them myself so I'll be as surprised as the viewers!

I hear that meme a lot in a VR game I play. But that's my only knowledge of it!

In my defence, I didn't plan to keep them in their packages for years! Weeks became months became years, I just hope it doesn't become decades!

I'm thinking that was a mass produced smaller replica model of one he sculpted to base the life size piece on. To me it's pretty overpriced and it's not one of his more popular pieces.

I can't say I am, but that might be the highest priced dino figure I've ever seen. Even beats out the bronze statues. All in all it seems rather... underwhelming to me.
