001 is a work of art. The paint complexity reminds me of the HLG blue Carchardontosaurus. Absolutely beautiful.

Rayeknor

Finally someone with ok cameras. It looks great, glad I resisted swapping from purple to my second favorite the dark green one.

Indeed! While not my preferred colour scheme, it does work quite well to give the impression of an aged ancient beast. Here's @TheAmazingSpino's copy alongside other expertly done sauropods. His shelf's yellow hued light brings out the patterning on 131 quite well.

Woah, I really like that look. Too bad that wasn't a design option itself

Agreed. The lighting is doing a lot of the heavy lifting in that image. A whitish rhamphotheca + vibrant mottled yellow neck would've lead to a great colour scheme.

So now I got an inspiration how a repaint could look like if I end up not being happy with the green-gray version. Thanks for this.

Varanus indicus and Varanus douarrha would serve as good references for an intricate mottling pattern if you choose to go down that route. Though I'd probably restrict the vibrant colours to the undersides / the throat only (at most the regions ventral to the racing stripe?), and keep the rest of the colour scheme dark.

Torosaurus apparently confirmed.

Screen cap from a recent post by Paleofiguras.

Hopefully it won't have the large speculative keratin on the frill like the trike. Which was one of the main reasons (among others) why I have yet to purchase the HLG Triceratops.

suspsy

I'll totally snap up a Haolonggood Torosaurus.

That is the same reason I didn't purchase that figure. A shame, because I think, as a whole, it is arguably the best toy model Triceratops on the market today.

This is precisely why I opted not to get the Halonggood Triceratops. Just could not understand why they added such a controversial feature that is not substantiated by any fossil evidence to an otherwise nearly perfect figure. I doubt that this made the figure more attractive for anyone, whereas it certainly had the effect that some people who value scientific accuracy would not purchase this figure.

Torosaurus is OK for Haolonggood to make, but it would not be the ceratopsian species where I would think we are in real need of a good figure. The PNSO Torosaurus is very good in my opinion. They could have for example complemented the PNSO Lokiceratops by making some other related species like Medusacertops or Albertaceratops or alternatively some chasmosaurines like Agujaceratops, Regaliceratops, Spiclypeus or even Titanoceratops.

But maybe some of these or other interesting species will come out next year. At the current rate at which Haolonggood is producing ceratopsians (7 species this year if I count the ones yet to come) they will fill up our collections very quickly. Paleontologists will need to work hard to discover new species at some point.

There are 11.11 discounts on aliexpress if anyone interested.

I ordered Haolonggood ouranosaurus & chasmosaurus and pnso borealopelta. I will probably order haolonggood Sinoceratops and gastonia or edmontonia next.

Did anyone get a shipment notification for Argentinosaurus variants brown (HLG-130) or green-gray (HLG-131)? I was asked to pay the shipment costs by Lana Time Shop about a week ago which I promptly did, but then nothing.

I paid for shipping last week but mine has not shipped yet.

dragon53

I paid for shipping on November 6, and mine hasn't shipped.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Not sure if mine has either but it was in a shipment with another order.
