ceratopsian

Don't let them party too hard, S @SidB!  I count myself lucky that I came into the hobby in time to acquire the Doug Watson ceratopsians when they came out.

Me too. The Diabloceratops by Doug Watson was the beginning.

Ceratopsians know how to party :))

As some have been discussing ceratopsians as of lately, I just received two 3D printed resin models from VFB Paleoart which were printed by Dinosauria Creatures. These are Xenoceratops and Agujaceratops. Both are really nice and I have a few more in the making, a pair of Chasmosaurus with C. belli and C. russelli, then Avaceratops and Mercuriceratops. VFB Paleoart is now open for changing the pose such that one does not need a base for the model to stand and Dinosauria Creatures does adjust the size to the one one prefers. All these will need to be painted at some point of course.

I've acquired the Haolonggood brown Utahceratops.  It's excellent.  I like its size, although I like the different sizes of all my Haolonggood ceratopsids.  The figures are just done so well.

Papo Pentaceratops.

One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

Nice! I personally really love this figure. I think it is cool that it can be displayed in 2 positions.

Yes, it's a really neat design feature from Papo. Would be great if more models did that.

The HLG Utahceratops has arrived, courtesy of a courier, not Canada Post this time (the strike continues). I'm pleased with this figure -

It's a chunky enough individual (comparison with the HLG Pachyrhinosaurus) -

I was surprised at the size of the head, and noted it's resemblance to Chasmosaurus and Kosmoceratops-

Nice S @SidB : Nice addition! My red Utahceratops is on the way & I finally ordered the red Kosmoceratops one.

Good choices on your part (I'm obviously in the same corner).

It really is a fine figure; I got one years ago, when it first came out. Though it sometimes finds itself being temporarily retired to a storage box, it always comes out again at some point, recently to be displayed alongside my two variations of HLG Pentaceratops/ Titanaceratops. It still holds up very well, an excellent sculpt.

I guess it is so. Thanks  ;D
When I buyd the Doug Watson Diabloceratops back in 2015 my love for ceratopsians began. And btw I also like the Papo Pentaceratops a lot. It is my only Papa figure except the Polcanthus.

I remember getting my first Doug Watson ceratopsian piece at a reptile zoo named, not inappropriately, "Reptilia". It was the Vagaceratops, which still has a place in my collection (we don't see too many of these by anyone).I wish that Safari had continued to issue figures from this group; but I see that CollectA has picked up the torch for 2025, minus the "butt fuzz".

And now it's HLG to fill the gap of unreleases massproduced ceratopsians

Argentinosaurus, a massive hunk of plastic, you could work out with this, or bludgeon someone.

Imagine seeing something like this approaching you, you would be terrified!

The head is incredible, of note especially is the fact that the teeth are basically perfect, with zero stray paint!

The body is hefty, this is some saltasaur level chonk and I love it!

There are some speculative osteoderms on the tail, which is also painted with HLG's signature blue highlight, that I really like, they would give any attacking Mapusaurus a hard time.

Speaking of Mapusaurus, here it is with PNSO's model of the Huincul apex, they really complement each other, though a Mapu would be hard pressed to take down a beast this size.

The full sauropod collection, it's growing nicely, and I look forward to even more additions.

And the Huincul fellows with HLG's Apato standing in for Sidersaura.

Absolutely worth the insane price tag!

DefinitelyNOTDilo

And the Huayangosaurus, as I said in the HLG thread I see now why it was a preorder bonus!

Loving this guy, everything about it is perfect and incredibly detailed!

Those characteristic shoulder spines and plates are both really well done, and seriously sharp, gotta be careful with em!

The head, despite being tiny, has really good details and well applied paint on the beak and eyes!

Here it is with my only other stegosaur, the classic Stegosaurus!

And, for an idea of the size, here it is with a couple Oreos.

So glad I ordered in time to get this one!

Joliezac

Congrats! Mine should be arriving Wednesday. I can hardly wait!

The Huayangosaurus is incredibly detailed for how tiny it is

This has the double effect of making me impressed by the glass on the table that's supporting all of these!  :o
That many big sauropods cannot be lightweight lol.

Awesome collection shot though, really shows a good deal of sauropodomorph diversity.
