Is there any reason none of Schleich's are on the list. Not that I would vote for them, but given the completeness of the other companies, they should be there two.

Faelrin

B @bmathison1972 I suppose I can add them later, but I want to take a bit of a break from updating the list atm.

Any other companies releases that should be added, such as Captivz, Favorite, Kaiyodo, Meng, Takara Tomy, Yowie, etc?

The Captivz Monolophosaurus and Super Sized Bumpy should be added :)

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin Absolutely not! It was a joke. That Moros maybe the wotst figure I've ever seen!

I've expanded the list with a few other brands and figures (including those suggested I've been behind on adding). I've added the Favorite Soft Model Dimorphodon, Meng's three figures, Kaiyodo's Patagotitan, and others, Takara Tomy's new Ania species (minus the JW hybrid), separated the Nanmu raptors, Schleich, TNG's Smilodon, and some of the new Captivz sculpts (plus the Monolophosaurus repaint as requested).

avatar_Primeval12 @Primeval12 Are those the right Captivz figures in the updated list?

I'll launch the poll tomorrow afternoon or evening (after 1pm EST), as this thread has been pretty quiet, and I have most of the major releases added anyways now. Edit: Almost forgot to mention that this gives people a couple more hours to get their suggestions in if they haven't yet.

I meant the epic evolution one. COlor change is good, not great sadly :(

Torvosaurus

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin Is the Safari Megalosaurus counted as a 2024 or 2025 figure? I think it should be on the list if it is considered a 2024 figure.

T @Torvosaurus The Megalosaurus became available just shy of 2024, so I'm not sure if it should be included on that notion since it technically wasn't available during 2024?

avatar_Primeval12 @Primeval12 The Captivz Epic Evolution Monolophosaurus is a rebrand of the Dino Trackers Monolophosaurus, which released in 2023 technically (check the Captivz website with the wayback machine during that year), but I'm not sure if that had widespread availability until being rebranded under Epic Evolution. Might have only been an Australia only release by then. I'm not sure if it should be counted or not?

What do you folks think?

The Safari Megalosaurus counting as a 2025 makes sense to me.

Poll is now open for voting. There's like 150 options. Perhaps a bit excessive on the amount of figures added, but most things have been covered. Hopefully didn't forget to add anything in from the major companies at this point. Added the Yowie figures as a last minute addition. Unless specified the figures listed are for any or both color variants (like last year's poll I guess).

Edit: Votes can be changed as well if needed, but results are not visible until you've voted. Only 10 votes per person, as usual. I guess voting should be open until late February? Should be enough time for folks to decide and get their votes in.

This list gives us some great variety. Thank you avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin for putting it together!

Thanks for organising this avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin!  The results so far are interesting, not quite what I expected!  I'm curious to see where they go from here!

Faelrin

So I voted. 10 is just too few for me with how much great stuff was made this year (I mean I legit considered allowing up to 15 things to vote for, but 10 has been the tradition at this point). Not sure if I will stick with my picks or not before closing the poll in another month from now, but for the meantime I tried to divide up my picks from various companies.

ceratopsian

Thanks for all your work avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin. I'll have a good mull over the multitudinous options before committing myself!

ceratopsian

I've noted.  Could easily have racked up 20!

SidB

Five HLG's, Four PNSO's and one Eofauna for me.

bmathison1972

My voting is all over the map, but I only voted for things I already have in-hand so I am voting for the figure itself and not a promotional picture of it.

I agree that 10 may seem like not enough, but voting for only 10 makes me decide which 10 actually are the best, and I was forced to make that cut right now.

The "Top Ten" figure gives a very wide range for selection, without any parameters for the voter to choose from. Some folks will vote only for the most scientifically accurate specimens, while others will vote for the aesthetics of the figure based on their tastes, and others will find somewhere in between the two. I lean toward the first, but a figure still needs to look good as well and a bland figure won't fare as well a pleasing one.

Are we already forgetting how good the PNSO Tyrannotitan is? Haha. Beautiful scuplt, cool pose, and super nice coloration to boot!
