Quote from: Gwangi on February 12, 2025, 09:59:25 PMI desperately need a good Iguanodon. I only have the Carnegie and Invicta models! Safari's was decent (albeit small) but I never got it. CollectA's is too large. PNSO's is too expensive. Looking forward to seeing what Haolonggood gives us.
I'm still looking for the ideal Iguanodon. I've got a few: the PNSO is beautifully crafted, but the skull is not the classic type typified by the Safari and CollectA figures; the Safari is on the smallish side; the CollectA a bit on the large size and the scalation not of the state-of-the-art sizing that the PNSO and HLG have shown to be possible; the Invicta a gem, but very retro, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what HLG can do.

Flaffy

I certainly wouldn't say no to more Haolonggood ornithopods!

Pliosaurking

Well I need an Iguanodon, so this is exciting!

Paleo Flo

I like my CollectA Iguanodon a lot. So it will not be replaced if there is a HLG Iguanodon coming.
Since I visited the museum in Brussels and saw the many fossils of the Iguanodons of Bernissat I have no problem with more than one member of the genera.

YESSSS IGUANODON.

Been waiting for this from HLG.

The PNSO and Collecta ones never struck that chord for me...

Will be interesting to see how Haolonggood will approach Iguanodon. I am sill quite happy with my PNSO, despite the issue with the head. I really hope that Haolonggood will not make a dwarfed Iguanodon like they did with Edmontosaurus and Maiasaura. I know that the size of these is well within the permissible range, but still they look small next to some other hadrosaurs.

Elengassen

I've been expecting an Iguanodon from Haolonggood sooner or later, so this doesn't surprise me. I agree with the other comments; we are still lacking a definitive 1:35 Iguanodon figure. Hopefully HLG will be the company to finally give us one. (If not, there's always Eofauna...)
One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

I know they said the images are not official but imagine if they made their Iguanodon in a bipedal stance, that would be pretty cool.

That image is definitely ripped from David Krentz's new Iguanodon sculpt, which is super nice btw.... https://www.facebook.com/100063574808513/photos/1160178309444652/

If HLG or PNSO could collaborate with Krentz, it would be wonderful to see these produced in PVC for a cheaper price than usually offered.

I agree that it would be so great if Haolonggood would collaborate with paleoartists like David Krentz, Vito Fabrizio Brugnola or Christopher Chavez.

To be honest, as long as it does look good, I don't care what color the Iguanodon is. It's just that I kinda like green ones...

Anyway, I finally made up my mind and ordered the Brachiosaurus from Lana, lasagna ver.

First Haolonggood figure, here we go!

The Haolonggood fan account posted a notice on X that a small batch of Alamosaurus will be produced in the first half of 2025. So there will be a chance to get this one for those who missed it.

I wonder what color they will be. Not that i would buy again but it would be cool if they release the rejected variants.

Getting back to ornithopods, I'll share which ones from Haolonggood would really excite me:

1. Either Corythosaurus or Hypacrosaurus. >:D

2. Tsintaosaurus with a proper crest. 8)

3. Muttaburrasaurus. :o

(My son asked to add some emojis)

I'd really like to see a Muttaburrasaurus too. The only one in my collection is Invicta's classic effort so many years ago, so a new one would seem to be in order. HLG could certainly do the job.

So, if you go to Haolonggood's Amazon  page and open up the "New" button, at the top of the page is a silhouette of several dinosaurs. I see a raptor-like species, an iguanodont, possibly a Dilophosaurus?, a couple of sauropods (one large, one smaller), a couple of stegosaurs and a possible allosaurid?. There's also a couple of pterosaurs in the sky. The back half of the picture has a lot of overlap, so it's hard to make out the dinosaurs. Over all of them is the title "New products, Please look forward to". Is this new to anyone or am I just now seeing this?

I'm still just waiting for them to list the brachio on there amazon.

Torvosaurus

I'm on a phone and can't post a link until later. Click on the menu once you're on the Haolonggood Amazon page and then click "New". Should come right up until I can post a link.

It's not new, it's been around since 2023 I believe.  Some of the species on the poster never got made.  And on that note, I read in the Paleofiguras group that a palaeontologist contacted Haolonggood to offer to collaborate with them but was told that they have already decided all the species they will release this year.  So unfortunately listing any more wishes for them now shouldn't make a difference.
