Turkeysaurus

I'll skip this one. Waiting for what's next. Hopefully in April.

This figure looks quite nice, glad to see they are back. As per usual I'll wait to see in hand photos of this figure before I make a decision on buying it.

They seem to have a Judith River thing going with this, Zuul, and Loki. Given Leonardo is from Judith River, I'd say a Brachylopho may be coming soon. It would be well overdue. Now I just need to decide if I get this and Loki, or the HLG Rex, decisions...

When you decide in favor of the Haolonggood T. Rex almost certainly PNSO will come along with a lipped Sue. Variant of Murphys law.

I think my favourite dinosaur model ever produced by any company is PNSO's Edmontosaurus due to it's unfathomable realism based on all of the skin impressions and mummies we have for the species. If they decide to tackle Brachylophosaurus based on the Leonardo mummy I'd be so happy

Same, saurolophines as a whole have very much been neglected I'd say

The loki is one of the best figures made period. For me when it comes to Trex I can always be patient. I won't buy a T-Rex unless it is practically perfect (to my standards) because I know companies will be making new iterations of them forever.

I say wait and see for the Trex and spring for the loki and spiclypeus now.

Also I am also pleasantly surprised that we are getting a another Judith River formation figure since that's one formation I am actively trying to build out!

The gorgosaurus, zuul, and lokiceratops all look great together and as long as the Spiclypeus scales right (which I am hopeful it does) it should look fantastic next to them as well.

I may also swing for the safari furcatoceratops but I would like for a company like pnso or hlg (they seem to do small ceratopsians really well) to take a pass at that at some point.

Halichoeres

That's a promising start to the year. I'll be picking it up.

If PNSO decided to drop a Shantungosaurus with the same level of detail as the Edmonto, I'd just have to clear out some shelf space... The Edmonto is gorgeous, but for some reason that dang little comb crest looks so goofy to me.

SHE'S BEAUTIFUL!

Please, go back to dropping a figure every month now 😂

I hope a lipped Tyrannosaurus and the long rumoured Gigantoraptor are next!

Since we had Cameron as Sue and Wilson as Stan (if I remember right) then I wish the next T Rex could be a huge one based on E.D Cope or Goliath :)

Dude, I love that goofy little comb! :D I especially like how closely it matches the contours of the fossil we have. It goes to show that nature has always been a little silly, even back in the Mesozoic.
I totally agree with Shantungosaurus though. I think Shantungosaurus and Psittacosaurus are my two most-wanted species and have been for years.

The issue with both is they're extremely fragmentary. They have nothing to set them apart other than the size. Even if you name it after them, you'd have to pick another rex to base most of it on anyways, at which point why not just use the specimen.

Faelrin

Colors aren't as glamorous as the recent Lokiceratops, but it is a great sculpt, and I'm glad to see another figure from them. Hopefully sizes nicely with their Lokiceratops, and Zuul from the same formation. Just need a Brachylophosaurus and Medusaceratops now, the former of which still has no figures to my knowledge. Is this also the second figure of this genus after the BotM one?

Winter Wilson is actually based on ANMH5027, the first mounted specimen.

W-Dragon's lipped Rex is Stan though...

I'd like a Tristan... and a Trix... Wankel/MOR555//Nation's too... I wouldn't mind another pass at AMNH5027 either, this time with lips.

Fully agree on this. The level of detail when it comes to all the fossil evidence (ranging from overall morphology to the hoofs, the variations in scale structure, and the comb) is just so amazing. Interesting to see how well the comb matches with the fossil material and how this shape is so much a better match compared to other figures with more simple round combs.

Some lipped T. rex sculpts by PNSO. Upper for half-lipped, lower for fully-lipped. These were shared by Paleofiguras last year, in June and December, respectively.

Knowing PNSO and how much they like milking the Rex, what I'm thinking they might do is release a half-lipped Tyrannosaurus as seen in the first pic (or literally that sculpt in PVC). There will be people who buy it, as technically it'd represent an improvement over Cameron, since qualitatively speaking, it'll be "lipped". Yet at the same time, a lot of people will not be fully satisifed with it, because it would not be lipped the way they are used to, that is, fully lipped. That'd represent yet another reason for them to wait another few years to release another lipped Rex, but being fully-lipped.

Or perhaps they'll just release a fully-lipped Rex next time they release another one. Financial reasons aside, there's no reason for them not to release a fully-lipped Rex next time they want to release another one, after their fully lipped 2023 Yangchuanosaurus and Saurophaganax. But there'd also be financial reasons for them not do so (another excuse for releasing an umpteenth Rex later on). If their next Rex is fully-lipped there'll be no detail left for clear improvement. Unless it's brown again (which will surely be) and then they plan on releasing another fully-lipped Rex but with a more interesting color scheme later on!?  :o

Given that the fully lipped design is more recent, I'm willing to bet that it's the one we'll get. Hopefully, at least.

I want my Komodo Dragon lipped PNSO Tyrannosaurus Rex!!!!

SenSx

Yes same, I would not be interested in the half lipped, the other one is alwready banger from those renders !
I hope PNSO is taking this time to refine it.
When were those renders leaked ? December 2024 or 2023 ?

They are from an Expo for kids about t.rex. 27-30 November 2024.

SenSx

Ok thanks that's quite recent then, we can be hopefull.
If it was from 2023, maybe it could have been scrapped.
Maybe they'll keep it for the 2025 christmas surprise though.
