Is it a bit shrink wrapped or normal amount?

Duna

Wow, that looks good!! I want the "gratin" version.  ^-^

Ajax88

Shrinkwrapped + no lips = no buy.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I don't see any shrink wrapping just heavy osteoderms and scaling in areas of the skull. I don't see a lack of lips really, when the mouth closes the teeth could fit into pockets in the gums and the mouth is completely closed. While I'm not really concerned about lips or no lips or even inbetween. Lips still aren't 100% proven one way or the other.

SenSx

Looks to be an improvement over their last T-Rex.
But no lips = not interested at all

Concavenator

Would have to see more pics, but right now I'd say it's lipped too. Plus, there would be no reason for it not to be lipped, considering it's meant to be an improved Tyrannosaurus figure, and the fact that they already released several lipped theropods prior to it.

Is it happening?  ;D

I see those lips, there seems to be gap between the lower gums and the skin to fit the upper teeth, which indicates their presence.

Green one has brown face, tail..  8) or you can say it's a brown trex with a green back.

I wonder dark brown has face different colored or just plain?

At first I was considering buying another brown/brownish rex to fit in with my existing collection of rexes, but I might just break the pattern and get the greenish one. Caught my attention.

The T. rex looks a bit like a Greg Paulish 90's throwback to me. Not in a bad way, necessarily. Reminds me of the Carnegie anniversary T. rex. Hard to go back to that after what Eofauna gave us though. I don't need this one in my collection, although I do like the green.

Face seems shrink wrapped a bit and if it really has no lips , Haolonggood better work on version 3.0. already  :P

DefinitelyNOTDilo

It seems to have lips to me, and I rlly don't see this shrinkwrapping. Frankly I'd rank this higher than PNSO's in every way except the weird neck pose, at least from what we've seen so far.

Halichoeres

Looks fine, but not superlative enough to break my T rex boycott for.

If it has lips, I might use excuse of lack of Tyrannosaurus Mcraeensis figure in my collection to get one.

Dino_W

I really doubt the figure has lips unfortunately. There's just not enough soft tissue overhang on the model to envelop the upper teeth as far as I can tell. Haolonggood doesn't consistently do lipped theropods either, they seem to switch back and forth almost arbitrarily sometimes tbh.

SRF

I bet the teeth aren't visible when the mouth is closed.
But today, I'm just being father

It's a good looking figure and HLG is doing a great job with the color schemes, as per usual, though I'm not sure if it's quite good enough to warrant me picking another rex up. That's the tricky part with making rex figures, I suppose. It can be a great figure on paper but miss the mark solely because of how much competition there is.
I can definitely see this being a good choice for people who can't get behind the PNSO prices or get their hands on the BotM, though! I wonder if that third, brownish variant in the back is an intentional nod at Wilson..
* Hey, look Elly! Yours has more hidden underneath!

Turkeysaurus

Regardless of lips , it seems good enough to compete with other brands.

If they are quite cheaper as usual, this might be very popular quickly.
