So much stuff... I kinda want the Spinosaurus set, but it probably won' be released in my country. :P

Why there is no standalone relase for the new Raptor? It's either the one with ScarJo, which most likely won't be released in my country (like the Dominion Human sets), or the one with the vehicle, which might actually be released in my country (other past vehicles did). But I don't want to pay the higher price of the vehicle set just to get the raptor!

A Nanotyrannus? Really? And it's that the Euplocephalus? C'mon Mattel...

Everything else I just don't care, althout if I came across the Iani in person I might pick it up to use it as a generic small ornithopod.

EDIT: Also why the keep making the Dominion Blue Parasaurolophus as a juvenile instead of an adult?!

It doesn't look half bad, surprised (and happy) it wasn't another black/dark grey monster

I have so many questions... Why does it have a whale head? What does it need that big melon for? Does it hold spermacetti?

According to Goji Center's video on the D Rex, the bulbous forehead "could imply echolocation abilities like a beluga or a malformed skull like some embryos develop."

I'm feeling a bit of sensory overload with all these new announcements.  :-[

These announcements used to be very exciting for me, now it's all just stressful noise  :*D

Hammond Collection releases are the ones I care the most about these days but this batch is a sorry follow up to the stego and spino last month. Not that these are bad* but maybe I would be more excited for this wave of reveals if they had saved one of those big ones to reveal now ????

*trying to decide if the Troodon looks appropriately mangy for its game counterpart or just plain ridiculous with that pencil neck

Blade-of-the-Moon

Were the new HC pieces released? All I see are three Rebirth figures on Target?

Seeing most of the human/dino packs listed on Smyths is like a huge win for me, they never carried them before

Now fingers crossed we get the Spino, Zora and Henry one

Spino.png

This makes two out of three spinos present in the 3.75" range, even if this one's a bit undersized.

Noideaforaname

I like the mutant as a monster design, but I'm burnt out on made-up dinosaurs from this franchise.

The HC reveals feel a bit redundant (another pachy, two more raptors), though the Troodon boxart being an edit of Velociraptor makes me appreciate how the toys put in a lot more effort.

I'm most interested in the Titanosaurus. The sails and inflatable nose sac strike me as being more "plausibly speculative" than "movie monster"... even if, ironically, it's more inspired by the kaiju with the same name than Amargasaurus.
But mostly, I've been wanting to get one of these giant sauropods and this one's got the most visual interest.

Pliosaurking

Lots of new reveals, I'm particularly excited for that Purussaurus!

For whatever reason Mattel just doesn't get the raptors right in the hammond collection, something is always off. Meanwhile the mainline figures capture their look almost perfectly (minus some proportion issues).

The Stigy needs some grey on the horns, it just doesn't look right with that creamy color.

Why is the Troodon green now when the prototype we saw a while ago was light gray? And why neither of those reflect the videgame colors when the figure is obviously inspired by it?

Faelrin

Great more to add to the op lol. ::D

My phones gonna die. I'll share my thoughts later.

The Troodon is atrocious, but I never liked the design from the game either. The rigid neck really kills it.

I'm excited for the Stiggy and LW Velociraptor, they're two dinosaurs I've been waiting for in the HC line.

A malformation I guess I could understand. The only animals I know of that have melons are all aquatic though. Something about how the acoustics work underwater... I can't think of any terrestrial animals that have one for echolocation.

Not gonna lie, I think I really like the D. rex. It looks absolutely disgusting and repulsive but considering how boringly safe all the other hybrid bad guy dinosaurs in previous films looked, (the scorpius looked appropriately horrible but it wasn't in the movies so it gets a pass) I'm glad to see a genetic experiment that they REALLY messed up. Whether it's good in the movie remains to be seen though.
