What is the dragon in the background please ?
I'm really looking for a nice Dragon figure or statue, but can't really find one...

It's a Smaug porcelain statue from The Franklin Mint. Took me ages to find another after my last one was destroyed.  You may want to check out the Dragon thread : https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=7785.0 or the Werewolves and other monsters as I think we've posted a few there as well.  There is also the How to Train Your Dragon figure thread.

Ok  thanks a lot !
I'll have some research work to do before I can get the Dragon of my dreams...
Unless it does not exist yet, or I have to 3D print it.

There are a TON of awesome figures, statues, and more out there. If ever need some ideas shoot me a PM.

Turkeysaurus

I have received my brown Saurolophus.  <:j Somehow two of the stores has started sending it to my country again. When i asked they said they didn't changed anything. Other sellers are still not available.

I was against brown because it's too common color but also i have pnso edmontosaurus with brown color with a reddish crest. I liked Grey variant more at first but I think contrast between black markings on grey and fleshy tone looks a bit more artificial to my eyes when i saw in hand photos and videos. Maybe it needs a dark wash or something. Brown's colors are so naturally blend in even blue shade on tail which is completely unnecessary to begin with.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Received my Saurolophus from Lana yesterday.  I do like the more attractive pattern of this grey version. I think the stripe on the main body should have continued onto the face at least a far as the eye to help set it off.

Now i realized these are basically Majungasaurus colors on Saurolophus.

Brown Saurolophus even has a bit blue shade on it's tail.

So it seems, avatar_Turkeysaurus @Turkeysaurus , but your posting did remind me to order one (the darker) off of Aliexpress, where I was able to get free shipping and get it mailed separate from the use of Canada Post, which is currently facing another postal strike in its ongoing death-spiral.

My HLG Edmontosaurus is falling over, so I need to adjust the right/rear leg.

If I use a hairdryer to heat the leg, will it soften or damage the paint?

It shouldn't.

IMO, hot water/ice water method works better, because the hair dryer only heats up the outside of the figure, which leaves a core that maintains a "memory" of where the warped limb was, so repairs will often revert back to problems. The hot water heats the figure to the core, because you can allow the figure to heat longer.

If you choose to go that route, remember to have both hot water, and ice cold water prepared. Heat the section of the figure you want to bend, make sure it's as soft and pliable as possible, bend the limb where you want it, and then shock chill the area with the ice water, which cools the area fast, and should help lock the new bend in.

Once the figure begins to harden up in the repair area again, if you can, stand it up on a plate in the refrigerator to fully cool.

I have found this method to be more successful than the hair dryer.

In the event that your figure does not respond to these methods, drop me a line, I have a couple more... extreme methods you can try.

I've used a blow dryer to heat tail spikes of a Haolonggood Stegosaurus that warped while it was being stored and it heated them to the core and allowed me to undo the warping..

Happy Hen Toys is doing a flash sale of the "Haolonggood" Deinocheirus - both Blue Grey and Fiery Red versions - over the Memorial Day weekend if anyone is interested. $29.39 each before tax and shipping (and tariffs?).

*edit* I see D @dragon53 made a post about this too, oops.

Tail spikes are significantly less mass than a leg. There's no doubt the hairdryer can have good results, I just get better/more permanent fixes with hot/cold water.

Anyone know how tall the Euhelopus will be?

In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Majority of my large sauropods are brown. (even brown markings on brown with light colored tail lol) I want to save grey for future large sauropods though.

I think i'm gonna order brown if it would be available for me.

Edit: Nevermind, i confused it with Europasaurus' size which is really small. Euhelopus wouldn't be available for me.

HLG has to take a break on the striped tails. Lol

The size estimate in the Eofauna sauropod book is 12.9 meters, which would translate into 37 cm through the centra in 1:35 scale.

Not sure though if they will go for this size estimate. One can find size estimates ranging between 10 and 15 meters.

And I really like this Euhelopus figure. I may get both color variants.

Thanks. Too bad. With my current display set up, any sauropod larger than 32 (maybe 34) cm it too tall. I am not scale-conscious, as long as big animals are generally big and small animals are generally small. But I have shelf space constrictions.

Thank you!

oscars_dinos

I'm genuinely impressed. The mamenchi was the last sauropod I had no real issues with, I liked the Brachi but the scale detail and the foot placement detoured me from getting it but this guy look perfect.
