Quote from: JPuggy on May 17, 2025, 08:59:07 PMDecided to hit up my local Walmart and found.... Nothing. In fact, the Jurassic section was cleared out, replaced by some weird AI generated card game.... So that was neat. Clearance section had Captivz and a bunch of party supplies that was Jurassic branded.

My Walmart was mostly devoid of Jurassic World stuff and what little they had was on clearance. I consider it a good sign, Rebirth stuff is hopefully inbound.

I was worried when the usual section was overstuffed with HtTYD figures, but a week later, it was full of rebirth merch.
Being in Canada, our schedule may have been different

I believe that's the case. I'm seeing a lot of people in Canada acquiring stuff but not so much in the US. I think our official release date is June 1st.

Case in point, according to the German Smyths site, the first Rebirth stuff in-store releases are in late May. Although a lot of the stuff is already available online.
All big figures, no small ones, however. Also no humans.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

PrimevalRaptor

Yeah...I'm hoping it's gonna be like with Dominion and the smaller figures are just a tiny bit late. Mostly interested in the Torvoneustes and I was hoping since it's the first wave they'd finally stock the small ones again

If it's anything like here, those are what arrived here first!

Very thorough and useful, thanks!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Yes, thank you Faelrin!

People are getting the HC Spinosaurus now. In hand pictures make it look like the best figure Mattel has made so far.

Walmart canceled my order of the Beluga Rex after holding it for 5 days. My Quetz is still being held at some shady walmart black site. I'm leaving it alone hoping it will arrive around the official release date.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Well walmart did come through on my Spino :

Gotta say I really like it. It's weighty, details and action feature are fantastic, the sharp teeth are pretty great. Some higher priced toy companies still have yet to manage it.

i like the new look, more sci accurate Spino.  Mattel's tail is short and legs and neck too thick but it's nice that the JP universe is willing to evolve along with scientific research.  And the earlier, long legged Spino is still relevant in the JP universe.

So when will the next wave of toys hit stores?

the aerial ambush Quetz has a wingspan of 24 inches!?  I wonder how the fabric wings will look ie will they be all creased and wrinkled.

They're pretty nice actually, quite soft. I've seen them in stores but haven't bought one

Heads up for those in Germany: The first Müller stores are getting figures. Mine so far doesn't, but I've seen some videos where people have found figures there, including the Frenzy Pack ones.

I'd have bought one if I had seen it yet..Walmart still has my order of it pending since the 13th. If it doesn't move around 1st-3rd or I find it in store I'll finally cancel.

Can confirm I was there yesterday and the only new frenzy pack ones were the Iani and Proceratosaurus but they had some of the new wild roar ones (and even some older ones like Gryposuchus that didn't show up in stores before)

Dilopho

Oh wow. Dan Surprise has the HC Spinosaurus already.   :o

Faelrin

I saw a post on reddit (HC sub) that someone found the tiger raptor at a Target in Texas. So those are starting to get out there as well.

Target and Amazon have also both raised prices for the previous wave (Atrociraptor, Allosaurus, etc), at least online. Haven't checked in store yet.

Hey Dan also has the new Captivz Dioramas and eggs in that video as well

Dromaenychus

Found HC tiger raptor and stygimoloch at Target today. They also had the Rebirth Wild Roar set, a couple of Frenzy Pack figures, and the Tail Thrasher Spino. The spino is quite impressive in person. The tiger raptors are a bit dark in color and the stripes are so dense, for some reason they can never get it right.
