avatar_crazy8wizard @crazy8wizard Good call on the lower part of the keel, I was only paying attention to the upper one. About the premaxillary keel, yeah, that's what I meant by the keel needing to be taller.

Considering I wouldn't modify the figure, I'm starting to doubt it'll work as a stand-in...

Will have to wait for measurements but if the Anhanguera could pass of as a 1:30/35 Tropegnathus, size-wise, then it means it'll be way too big for it to be Anhanguera in said scale range (even as a super-sized individual), as Tropeognathus is fairly bigger than Anhanguera.

I received my Suchomimus and really happy with it, one of the best PAPO figures ever.

You guys know more than me, what are the chances of PAPO doing another stegosaur? I mean they are quite unique and not many species have been portrayed and they could make some nice looking ones like a Kentrosaurus or Tuojiangosaurus.

Thank you! Just got it and the Eofauna Ankylosaurus

Pliosaurking

I'm definitely ordering it this evening and trying to decide what else ...:*D

Flaffy

Some comparisons between the Papo vs PNSO Suchomimus from Paleofiguras. PNSO is no doubt the more scientific reconstruction, but the Papo is certainly the more imposing specimen.

Thou versus the Lad she sayeth worry not about
💀

Jokes aside, for me this is the best Sucho, and probably the best Baryonchine figure produced. Zhao Chuang better watch out! We are so back! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷💪💪💪💪💪

I never expected to see a Papo model rub shoulders with a PNSO model as confidently as this one does.
I'll reserve judgement until I get mine in-hand tomorrow, but I may have a new favourite Suchomimus.

Joliezac

Can't wait for mine to arrive! I do like the larger size of the Papo, it's more imposing and looks to be less fragile. Green is my favorite color too so that's a big win..

Patrx

Say, that's not bad, for a Papo!

Elengassen

I didn't expect the Papo to be that much larger than the PNSO. Does anyone have an idea of its scale? I remember reading somewhere that the PNSO is about 1:32.
One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

If they keep this up and PNSO continues to slow its pace (as may be starting to happen with the new CEO, speculating), Papo may seriously start to regain its place in this niche market. More so if HLG continue to emphasize their mega sauropods with their equally massive price tags.

Mine arrived from Germany via eBay yesterday. I was expecting maybe a slight deforming but this is a bit much..

Oh man... hit the pharmacy for one of those finger splints. Heat some water and give that bent boy a swirly for like 8-10 minutes, splint it straight, and toss him in the freezer for a day. Just crazy enough to work...

Using a hairdryer on high it became very pliable, very quick.  I straightened  the skull the teeth are bit harder to get to fit correctly when it's closed.

I will say.... that image is a no-brainer for the "caption this" thread...
