Here's version 2 of the most popular Wild Safari figures poll!  The first version only went up to 2017.  I'm curious what the top 10 will be this time.  Will Sauropelta reign supreme like last time?

I've included in the poll all the available Wild Safari figures!  Vote for up to 10 that are the ones you like most!  I've ordered the species by taxonomic group, so it can easily be seen how related animals do against each other.

Gwangi

A top ten poll for my favorite company? No easy task!

I went with...

Coelophysis
Megalosaurus
Tyrannosaurus (2017)
Deinonychus
Nasutoceratops
Regaliceratops
Sauropelta
Postosuchus
Scutosaurus
Estemmenosuchus

Faelrin

Yeah this is another one that will be hard for me. And unlike PNSO I own a bunch of these. In fact they make up a bulk of my collection (excluding Mattel). I will need time to think about this.

Thanks for putting this together avatar_Sim @Sim. That's a lot of critters!

Yes, a real labour of love, well done Sim! Glad this mammoth poll included the two Mammoths and the other mammals. Makes you realise how good Safari have been in releasing such a wide range of species over the years.

SidB

Wow, when it came down to my tenth pick, I had about a half dozen 'must choose' ones left. I could have picked any one of them. Safari sure has made a lot of great figures over the years.

There's only one Wild Safari Therizinosaurus...  Are you thinking of the dinosaurs of China one or the Great dinos one?

Thoughts:

- Two of the top three figures currently are types of animal which certain companies have been avoiding due to being relatively small.  Maybe those companies should reconsider not making smaller species ;)

- I'm surprised no Spinosaurus figure has got any votes.

- The 2017 Tyrannosaurus isn't dominating in contrast to what I was expecting and how it went in the previous Wild Safari poll.

- I'm also surprised the 2018 Triceratops isn't doing well.  I thought it was the go-to for a figure of Triceratops, one of the most popular prehistoric animals.

- I'm very pleased the Prestosuchus is doing well, I would have voted for it if I didn't have exactly 10 figures in this poll that I preferred.  It's a truly excellent figure.

Gonna try to get my vote in tonight. Wanted to use the DTC site to help me decide, but it was down for me last night.

Edit: I'm not sure my picks are finalized yet, but I voted in any case. There is too much that I adore so I separated everything into four basic categories, Theropods, Ornithischians, Syanpsids & Mammals, and other (mainly reptiles).

Here's what I picked for the meantime:

Coelophysis
Carnotaurus
Deinonychus
Nasutoceratops
Sauropelta
Camarasaurus
Pteranodon (2019)
Scutosaurus
Coelodonta/Woolly Rhino
Daeodon

Here's the bulk of what I like. I have most of these in my collection. Those I don't have yet I have italicized and colored purple:

I agree it would be nice if more companies (or collectors, for that matter) were willing to break out of the 1:35 rut, although I'd wager you and I have slightly different small- and medium-sized animals in mind!

The Safari Deinonychus and Camarasaurus are absolutely top figures of all time for me. Other highlights are the already-mentioned Coelophysis and Prestosuchus. Honestly, Wild Safari are the best in the business if you ask me, especially because they're willing to make relatively big figures of small animals. Sticking to a consistent scale is definitely holding some of the other companies back, in my view.

Halichoeres

Even though I have figures from more than 100 companies, Safari is still the largest mainstream contributor to my collection. And yeah, their willingness to make smaller animals is a big reason for that.

I wanted to, it's excellent, but I ran out of options while giving their prehistoric mammals and Permian animals their due.
