What are the best azhdarchid figures around? Their depictions in Prehistoric Planet have left an impression on me and I'm thinking of picking something up.

Turkeysaurus

Quetzalcoatlus : GR Toys/Haolonggood and TNG but Rebor will make one and it'll be probably better overall.

REBOR are infamous for announcing products and never making them. My advice is not to get your hopes up for them until they start accepting pre-orders.

Vitae's Zhejiangopterus is nice too.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I actually wasn't satisfied with any quetzalcoatlus figure on the market so I ended up purchasing a high end Musee Studio pre-painted 1/35 quetz. It was expensive but I'm happy with it. I would share pictures however I've forgotten how to do so on this forum 😬😬😬

It seems like most companies get one thing or another wrong with quetzalcoatlus but In my opinion one of the few that gets the proportions most correct is, strangely enough, Takara Tomy. The major downside is that it's teeny tiny and has those weird tomy ball joints.

But aside from that it has good proportions, properly placed eyes, and the wing fingers are bent properly. Depending on scale you could probably use this as Q. lawsoni.

Shouldn't the neck still be noticeably longer? On that front, I'd say that, in case it ends up being released, Rebor's will have the most accurate proportions as far as standing Quetzalcoatlus figures go.

Yeah the neck could be a little longer. It's a little foreshortened in this image so it's a smidge longer in hand. Rebor's is considerably better of course, but considering the size difference, it doesn't surprise me that it is.

Although while the neck is a better length, the Rebor one still seems to have wing fingers that are just a little too long, as when standing the distal most phalanges on the wing would just barely be taller than the back in neutral position, and these seem to be longer. Not a huge deal, but I thought I'd mention it.

avatar_crazy8wizard @crazy8wizard I didn't know about that detail about the wing fingers, so thank you for the remark. And then there's also the Quetz being depicted as a digitigrade when it shouldn't be. It's a Rebor figure we're talking about, so some inaccuracy here and there is no surprise.

Still, the overall accurate proportions is a big draw, at least compared to HLG's and TNG's versions, which right now are probably the go-to choices when it comes to a standing Quetzalcoatlus figure for most people.

Here's my Musee Studio 1/35 quetzalcoatlus. I wasn't satisfied with any mass produced figure on the market which is a shame because I'd love to see PNSO give it a go. GR toys and Papo are ok, but not what I was looking for.
