Sounds like the person who didn't talk for two years, to avoid interrupting the spouse.

Exciting!! Hopefully BBTS gets it in soon as well.

Looks like Happy Hen has it in stock. Pretty pricey though, probably because of the tariffs. I'll wait and see if BBTS stays cheaper.

Interesting... I thought BBTS was REBOR's like official US distro, or concessionaire, yet HH has their order in inventory first...

Happy Hen is spendy. All of their REBOR stock is more expensive than pretty much anywhere else.

That said, $80 is a bit outrageous... add on shipping, and this figure is over $90!! I paid $74USD total to purchase, and ship this figure from Australia, and that's $16 less than it will cost an American customer to order it from Indiana! Canadians ordering from HH get dinged with another charge too, 25%, making this figure over $110USD ($150CAD)!!

I'd like to hear the justification for asking that much more for a figure everyone else seems to be selling at $60. That doesn't smell like the current tariffs.

Funnily enough, I just checked Happy Hen again and the price went down to $64.99.

Kiss Island Rex now available on Everything Dinosaurs. For me in the US after taxes and shipping its the same price as Happy Hen's. I emailed BBTS and they said theirs has not arrived yet in the warehouse. Hopefully soon.  :)

Got the following email from BBTS:

"Hello,

Thank you for Pre-ordering Tyrannosaurus Rex Kiss (Island Ver.) 1/35 Scale Replica (Standard Grade) from BigBadToyStore!

We are expecting this item to arrive soon and will begin processing Pre-orders at your current pre-order price within several business days."

So it looks like it should be the same price and not go up because of Tariffs. Can't wait!

It should be said that the average retail price of at least REBOR's figures has risen in the past 12/18 months. Once upon a time a large theropod figure from REBOR was $50, and then it was $55 last year or so... and it is now $60.

Got my Island variant from Sugo Toys yesterday. I was indifferent to the first Kiss model, but the colours really pop on this version. Has officially replaced the Safari feathered rex in my collection.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Looks beautiful!! I really like the first edition's paintwork, but this one really looks like an improvement.

avatar_triceratops83 @triceratops83, I hope you don't mind, I took your image and fiddled a bit with the edit, trying to get those colors to pop...

As I see more and more in-hand images, I'm noticing the red on the chest and throat is more prominent than on the prototype, and it appears to me that REBOR improved upon the weak fine details of the application, ie; the final washes, keratin, eyes, nails, etc.

Samrukia

i think i just did the strangest order  :*D
ordered both Island Kiss and Eofauna Sue at the same time

Faelrin

Can't go for it this month, but hopefully it sticks around long enough for me to pick one up. Will compliment the first Kiss rather well.

avatar_Over9K @Over9K That's fine. I actually started to edit it in Photos, but decided on presenting the photo as it was.

Everything dinosaur pricing this very favorably for UK/EU collectors compared to other offerings so far.

I disagree. £47.99 exchanges to $65.50USD at the current exchange. That's $5 more than BBTS or Sugo before shipping, and the same price as the spendy option, Happy Hen here in the states.

Rayeknor

It's £39.99 with an account, I'm in Europe so if you're in the US you might see a different price.

Joliezac

I'm in the US and to get it from Happy Hen/Everything Dinosaur was almost the exact same price, only off my a dollar. BBTS will be the cheapest option for US customers.

£39.99 is a bit better indeed, $55USD on the exchange.
