I've seen some artists (and figures even!) elect to depict the spikes only starting at the hips and down the tail. Given what we know about spikes and osteoderms in more derived sauropods like Titanosaurs, having spikes only near the backside could be perfectly reasonable, just as spikes along the whole length is.
I've also seen some depictions of diplodocus put 2 rows of spikes following the bifurcated neural spines, which is really cool to see.

I'm gonna lose it if none of the Diplodocus paint schemes looks good next to these two:

Don't ruin the color contrast between my sauropods, Haolonggood! :||

I originally got the green brachiosaurus but after seeing some videos of the "brown" I ended up getting that one too. The paint scheme is not as absurd looking in person. It would work in an arid environment or as a male who's 🦚ing for the ladies. I think it's
My favorite of the three.

Yes same, after a lot of hesitation I picked the brown/red brachiosaurus, mostly because it reminded me of giraffes, I like to see that Brachio as the mesozoic giraffe ^^

I hope those Deinosuchus rumors are true as well, though unless the figure is too cool I might get the Rebor one from a forum member, mostly because of the Appalacchiosaurus dead body, as I'd love to have the corpse of a predator.

I would get the CollectA Tyrannosaurus but it would then raise a problem of consistency: all my other Tyrannosaurus are unfeathered, while CollectA corpse (as well as the new juvenile) is feathered, so there would a be a great inconsistency by the time I actually get to place them in the diorama.

I was taking a look at the pics I took of the Iguanodon skeletons from Brussels' Natural Sciences Museum and this one was one of them:

Take a look at the one at the back. Its prominent nose area reminds me of HLG's figure. And no, those were no Altirhinus, they were Iguanodon bernissartensis. Just in case someone thinks HLG's got the nose wrong, or that their figure has got to be an Altirhinus.

Sometimes we forget that intraspecific variation is a thing.

Nicely pointed out, avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator . The bounds of morphological plasticity has to be kept in mind - it can be surprisingly substantial, aa a walk along a sidewalk in a large multinational city , looking at the human variation of hundreds of passersby, will illustrate. Yet all are are Homo sapiens. It has taken me over a year before I finally started to accept L @Leyster 's assertion that the PNSO figure still represented a genuine Iguanodon, so no surprise that, once again, we're wrestling with this new HLG Iguanodon.

The Rebor Deinosuchus and Sarchosucus are my two favorite models on account of how unbelievably life-like and realistic they look, accuracy issues aside. As far as the Giga is concerned I'm not a fan of HLG theropods. With the exceptions of their Carcharodontosaurus and Dilo pair I always find something off about them that I can't quite put my finger on. It looks like they're getting a little better in that department though so I'm certainly open minded.

If their Giga is anything like their Carcharodontosaurus it'll be an immediate purchase. I'm also not a fan of their Megalodon, so I'm not sure how well they could pull off another non-dinosaur - Deinosuchus. The things they do well, however, they do really really well. I would've paid double the price for many of their sauropods.

Oh no, it looks excellent! But I don't want another Giganotosaurus! But Haolongood's looks irresistible! It looks like it will go well with the Haolonggood Carcharodontosaurus!

This was my least anticipated release from Haolonggood because of how many great carcharodontosaurids we already have, but this does look very good. I'm getting more excited about it now.
The head looks too big though, right?

Elengassen

Looks very good! It does feel a bit like they copied the same 3 colour schemes from the Brachiosaurus though.
One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

You can always replace your current one.  ;)

I don't think so. It's possible HLG based it off Dan Folkes' skeletal:

Actually, this is probably the most accurate Giganotosaurus figure yet.

1st blue scheme - yeah, but 2 and 3 look quite different for my eye. looks very natural too, love it a lot!

the head looks lipped, that's interesting  :))

I think two things can be true at the same time. I think this might be one of if not HLG's best therapod, but at the same time... I dont know, HLG's concavenator doesn't have the best overall detail in my opinion but I think I prefer it just because it feels alive. Its pose captures a gesture that not all hlg figures have and unfortunately I think this figure is missing it, just feels so stale. I'm being harsh, I will say I love the lips and the colors and maybe more pics can change my mind on the pose.

Wow, this is so COOL.

And it looks LIPPEDD

Oh, so Giganotosaurus gets lips, but Tyrannosaurus doesn't because . . . "something something we thought it looked cooler that way"?

Don't get me wrong. This Giganotosaurus looks superb and I'm happy that it looks the way it does. I just really dislike how inconsistent Haolonggood is being about theropod lips.
