That's a great figure, congrats! I wonder who would win an arm-wrestling match between it and the Papo Allosaurus. The Papo obviously has bigger arms, but they don't bend the right way for arm-wrestling!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

In case a really good, static 1:35 Allosaurus jimmadseni figure was released, would you get it, now that you have two A. fragilis already? IIRC, A. jimmadseni is your favorite species of the genus (just like me).

And Donald should also scale well with your HLG Stegosaurus, in case you still have it.

Now that's a tough question. I was almost ready to get PNSO's A. jimmadseni, but that was about the time the Lip Debate started exploding on these forums, so I held till Donald was released, then waited some more. till I was convinced of the presence of lips (not on all though - I'm totally fine with my PNSO Suchomimus being lipless. Seems to fit its fish-eating nature well? To me at least).

So if a really good, lipped, 1:35 A. jimmadseni appeared, I might have to think over it a long time, but likely still get it in the end. Just like S. ungulatus vs S. stenops, I find the anatomical differences between subspecies interesting, but I like them both the same.

Papo's A. fragilis I keep for sentimental reasons rather than scientific, which is why I even allowed myself to get Donald... Now if PNSO delivers a lipped T.rex though, I would not know what to do with my Winter Wilson - sell? Deep storage? It does have sentimental value too cause it's the first figure I won from PNSO... and it just looks so majestic!

I do indeed still have my HLG Stegosaurus! It will always be a mainstay of my collection (:

I can send comparison pics if you'd like...?

avatar_Quiversaurus @Quiversaurus The upcoming BotM is an amazing depiction of Allosaurus jimmadseni in 1:35 scale. It's articulated though, so potentially not for you:

Showanna has a brilliant A. jimmadseni sculpt as well, though in 1:18 scale and made of resin:

Considering they recently started venturing into PVC figures, hopefully they release a 1:35 PVC version at some point.  :)

It's guaranteed PNSO will be releasing a lipped T. rex, it's just a matter of time. Personally, I would sell Wilson and use that money so that I could get that new T. rex for cheaper (saving space in the process as well), but that's coming from someone for whom the idea of sentimental value on figures doesn't apply.  ::D So if you have a soft spot for the figure, I'd keep it, or maybe put it into storage if you run out of space and want to display the superior figure.

Also, don't worry about the comparison pics (thank you for the offer though!), I just happened to remember they're both in about the same scale and that you had that Stego.

And BTW, I also recall you saying you wanted to eventually get a figure by Eofauna. Well, in that case I have to tell you that a Stegosaurus by Eofauna is surely a matter of time! They are only tackling the top most famous dinosaurs these days, after all... and Stegosaurus is one of them. Do you think you'd be interested?

Thanks for the pics avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator ! Those A. jimmadseni look great - the Showanna one especially. Their Scotty looked pretty promising, so if they did an Allosaurus I might consider!

What you said about selling Wilson makes sense... Well I'll cross that bridge when I get to it  :*D  Let's see what PNSO does first.

I do indeed want at least one Eofauna in my collection, you remember rightly. It's currently dominated by PNSOs, with one Papo and one HLG. Their Ankylosaurus, though not on my to-get list, is tempting though. Simply because of how good it looks.

If for whatever reason I decide not to get HLG's Iguanodon in the end, I feel like there's a good chance Eofauna might 1. do one and 2. do one that looks REALLY good.

I've probably shared this elsewhere before but this is what Iguanodon looks like in my mind, a bruiser of sorts:

Concavenator

avatar_Quiversaurus @Quiversaurus I'm not too sure about Eofauna making an Iguanodon... Or at least in the foreseeable future. I would actually consider it one of the most likely ornithopods for them to release, but not the single most likely one (I still think they're more likely to release an Edmontosaurus annectens or a Parasaurolophus).

Considering they released a Triceratops, a Tyrannosaurus and an Ankylosaurus, color me surprised if their first ornithopod isn't an E. annectens. I think their next ornithischian (which, BTW, who knows when will be released, considering they rarely release new figures and when they do, they tend not to repeat groups, save for proboscideans) will be either an E. annectens or a Stegosaurus. Their dinosaur lineup feels too incomplete without an ornithopod or a stegosaurian.

I recently got the HLG Iguanodon and it's great, I highly recommend it!

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator I also think an Eofuana Edmontosaurus is more likely than Iguanodon considering their affinity for Hell Creek species.
But as far as ornithopods go, I think people forget just how well preserved and beautiful the Corythosaurus holotype is, and I feel thee best figure we have of that genus is the (very wonky) PNSO one. I'd like Eofauna to tackle either Corythosaurus or Brachylophosaurus considering how well preserved and underrepresented they both are.

avatar_Quiversaurus @Quiversaurus I can't recommend the Eofuana Ankylosaurus enough. It's fantastic.

I almost hope Eofauna does make an Edmontosaurus so they can have the Hell Creek/Lance "Big three".

I'd only prefer other ornithopods from Eofauna because we have a few fantastic Edmontosaurus models already. But don't get me wrong; Edmontosaurus is one of my favourite dinosaurs, so I'd happily take another! :P

Quiversaurus

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator We'll see! Eofauna's T.rex and Ankylosaurus were wonderful, so I await eagerly their next dinosaur figure.

This may be an unpopular opinion but ever since DinosDragons pointed out in his video review that hadrosaurs / Iguanodon had ossified tendons in their tails, I realised what I found just ever so slightly off about HLG's Iguanodon. I actually prefer the tail on the PNSO variant to the HLG's. I the HLG head were to be transplanted onto the PNSO body, that would be the perfect Iguanodon for me I imagine.

Maybe I should commission my own model haha, I am aware that I am quite picky when it comes to things like these...

avatar_DavidJamesArmsby @DavidJamesArmsby totally agreed on the Eofauna Ankylosaurus (:
