Quote from: Malaysian Dragon Soul on July 12, 2025, 03:50:55 PMLet's take a look at this big guy! It's still available for pre-sale, but its sales are not very good. This is largely due to the uncertainty of the species itself, the scale of the model (1:45), the price (¥349/379), and the obscure purchasing channels.

Alright, I still can't insert images. :-\
surely it will make its way to amazon no? I thought I read it would be available in august

Yes, it will
Well, the up side of sales being sluggish is that it should still be available by then, I'd guess.

Sim

Nothosaurus and Anshunsaurus, please, PNSO!

The Templar of the Past

I'd love Lariosaurus, but I'm afraid it wouldn't be the italian species.

I do actually take the fact that PNSO has produced two marine reptiles that were never made as figures before as an indication that they are ready for a change. Having this said, this would increase the probability that they would make some (maybe the larger) dromaeosaurs one day. There is hope for your case I would say.

Sim

While there are still numerous dinosaurs that would be nice to have, from PNSO or another company, I think switching to marine reptiles keeps PNSO fresh and interesting.  They can't be my favourite company until they make an accurate dromaeosaurid and long-necked plesiosauroid figure though!  And on that note, I hope PNSO will make Futabasaurus and Edestus too!

Halichoeres

Now I want them, or somebody, to make Mirasaura.

In the interest of my Triassic collection, absolutely.

But unless someone was working with the authors, it might be a few years (or more...).

Oh yeah, I'm sure it will take time, if it happens at all.

What are the chances of PNSO making a lipped allosaurus jimmadseni?

I would love to see released some more expensive models this year. So far this year we had ceratopsian price range and marine animals with slightly lower price tag.

Ideally by the end of year I would like to see at least two of following:

-Updated Basilosaurus or Mosasaurus ( no seams, better materials and sculpt )

-Sauropod ( we should be getting Hongkongsaurus / Huanghetitan liujiaxiaensis for 1/35 scale)

-One lipped theropod, whether updated model from ones already released as lipples or new species

-Phorusrhacos or similar species

Concavenator

Theropods:

Dilophosaurus
Utahraptor/Austroraptor
A more complete therizinosaur (say Segnosaurus or Nothronychus)
New Ceratosaurus
Updated Carnotaurus

Ornithischians:

Kentrosaurus
Tenontosaurus
Maiasaura/Brachylophosaurus
Saurolophus angustirostris
Anchiceratops
Kosmoceratops

Sauropodomorphs:

Updated Amargasaurus
Plateosaurus
Apatosaurus (but please, in 1:35 scale)

Non-dinosaurs:

New Basilosaurus
Quetzalcoatlus
Shonisaurus
Megatherium

Slim, probably. Some consider their 2023 Saurophaganax to be a resculpt of their Allosaurus from 2021, as regardless of the name, it's based off A. fragilis. But them revisiting A. jimmadseni doesn't strike me as too plausible. OFC, it would be great to see.

Why would you want to pay more?  ::D Don't you think they're pricey already?

We got some excellent models this year but still nothing in same league like their Edmontosaurus or Camarasaurus figures from 2024. Models that stand out.

PNSO has quite uniformed price range - ceratopsians 35, theropods 43, museum models 60+. In that sense I want to see pricier models, definitely not increase in their current prices. Perhaps it's was not obvious in my previous comment.

Turkeysaurus

Their new sauropod looks magnificent if you don't mind it's based on almost nothing.

I got their spinosaurid that was based on nothing but a tooth because I thought it looked great. What material do we have for honkongasaurus? I'll still get it because it looks great. I love how empty his head looks

I mean, the figure is based on a few very rigorous things, the fossil it's named after is almost nothing.

As far as i can remember very fragmentary remains. Model is based on two other sauropods mix. Diamantinasaurus head & Huanghetitan body.

Kind of interesting to me that there are still 10-15 Super-star level dinosaurs that have not yet received a really good modern figure from PNSO, HLG or Eofauna. Not that I don't like the recent influx of more obscure Ceratopsians or marine reptiles, but it does seem strange these apparent cash-cows are left untouched.

Parasaurolophus-Decent one from PNSO, but it's just not my style, needs to be thicker all-around with an updated nuchal ligament.
Lambeosaurus- No great figure of this super famous and stunning hadrosaur, perhaps the most deserving of an update.
Utahraptor- Duh, this thing would be a mega-seller.
Ceratosaurs- I'm biased, but an armored, massive toothed, triple crested bruiser of a theropod. Quite unique, needs a modern remake.
Kentrosaurus-Small, yeah, but come on, we need this!
Bajadasaurus- Not crazy famous, but one of the most spectacular new dinosaur species of the last couple decades!
Supersaurus- Huge, well preserved, massive paleo-lit fame, and a uniquely proportioned mega-diplodocid.
Sauroposeidon- Potentially the tallest sauropod ever found? Kickass name? Nearly complete skeleton? No-brainer. After seeing Hongkongosaurus, they can pull this off! Just please keep it 1/35th scale.
Gallimimus-still don't have a zinger of this mega-famous species.
Gigantoraptor- A oviraptor of acceptable size for a model, please give it a unique coloration!
Spinosaurus- yeah yeah, I still don't see a 1/35th version I love on the market. The SHOWANNA 1:35 Scale Spinosaurus is exactly what I need, just not for 300 bucks...

There you have it. This would be my dream lineup for the next 10 releases.

Turkeysaurus

I guess Showanna will do 1:35 PVC Sauroposeidon of their resin figure...or at least that was their intent.

Awesome! When can we expect those? I've read that their T-Rex was a bit of a disappointment, however those sauropods look great.
