I doubt PNSO would do 1:35 Ichthyotitan

I believe avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres is a big fan of PNSO 2025!

A 2 and a half foot long ichthyotitan model would be insanely bulky and huge!  :-[  If you thought finding space for the Haolonggood Argentinosaurus was hard, this is a whole other universe since it doesn't have feet to stand on and a long slim tail!

Now that I think about it, I find it odd how PNSO made a 1:35 blue whale, but isn't willing to release truly big sauropod species in 1:35 scale too, especially since that whale is bigger than those sauropods.

Damn right it is!

It's also insanely expensive so unless you're a weirdo like me I don't think most
people would buy something like this. Pound for pound PNSO tends to be more expensive than HLG with similar sized sculpts so I'd imagine it would be harder for them to sell larger models unless they learned to bring their costs down to HLG levels.
Just because I have a short attention span doesn't mean

I too am liking what PNSO is doing with 2025 figure-wise!  I think this is tied as being their strongest year with the year they released Deinocheirus, Therizinosaurus and Suchomimus.  I think I would have preferred if the Dinocephalosaurus had a longer neck, but I'm still looking forward to getting it.  I also would have preferred something different to another ichthyosaur so soon after their last one but maybe that will come next.  I'm just afraid PNSO will switch back to extant animals for the rest of the year after their prehistoric releases have become so intriguing.

If they finish off the year with the long rumoured & teased fully lipped Tyrannosaurus rex, updated Mosasaurus and Gigantoraptor, then it'll be one of their strongest years yet.

I think this is already one of their strongest years.  I don't think those three species you mentioned change much.

Imagine thinking that Gigantoraptor, Mosasaurus, and a lipped Tyrannosaurus rex at very long last wouldn't change much. :))

Chuckles aside, I got the Dinocephalosaurus in the mail today. It's a pleasing little toy, very streamlined and graceful. Plus it doesn't take up very much space.

A mosasaurus already would feel strange, didn't they release one last year? And frankly I could scarcely care less about Tyrannosaurus. Giganotoraptor would be nice though, especially a large one.
Trans rights are human rights.

PNSO hasn't released a Mosasaur since 2021 with the Tylosaurus, and despite how beautiful the body is it gets one of the most plainly diagnostic features of the genus wrong and doesn't have the "rostrum" snout that it's named after. In terms of Mosasaurus it got a figure way back in 2019 but it's far from PNSO's current style and is quite ugly.

I'd love a new mosasaur but Mosasaurus itself is so overdone and everyone and their grandma has made one. For being such a popular group I think figure companies could splurge a little and release something other than just Mosasaurus and Tylosaurus over and over. Could you imagine if every company made just Diplodocus and sometimes Amargasaurus for their sauropod lineup?

Yeah, that's why I'm not enthusiastic about another Mosasaurus or Tyrannosaurus.  They're overdone.  I don't have a problem with others wanting them, but I do have a problem with being passive-agressive to people who don't care about those species.  Particularly after declaring that one isn't interested in more obscure Triassic marine reptiles.  As far as mosasaurs go, I wonder if a species of Prognathodon could be interesting?  But I'm not up-to-date on which species belong in that genus, and besides, it's apparently confirmed both PNSO and Haolonggood will be producing Mosasaurus.

I've gone back-and-forward on Gigantoraptor, but I think I'm now settled on not being interested in one.  The head shapes of oviraptorosaurs are so distinctive and the lack of crucial parts of the skull shape in Gigantoraptor make me feel it's a pass for me.  This doesn't change that apparently PNSO will be making it of course!

avatar_Sim @Sim I'm kinda surprised at you skipping  Gigantoraptor. I know you're not keen on poorly-known taxa, but then you have figures of scrappier taxa than Gigantoraptor, like Therizinosaurus, Zhuchengtyrannus or Megalosaurus.

Good thing that isn't happening here. After all, not agreeing with an opinion certainly isn't the same as not tolerating it. Indeed, the notion that an opinion should not be challenged or disagreed with is a grave violation of free speech.

As far as Mosasaurus goes, sure, it's gotten lots of toys, but how many of them can truly be considered top notch? Certainly none of the Mattel ones. Nor the Schleich or Mojo Fun ones. Safari hasn't done a Mosasaurus in well over a decade. The PNSO one is interesting, but definitely not up to their current standards as we've already established. That leaves just the ones from Papo and CollectA, the latter coming out ahead. So it really wouldn't be a bad thing at all if PNSO chose to release a brand new version.
