Papo Feathered Therizinosaurus Custom

A fairly old custom I had done a few years ago. Done by Tone Hitchcock.

Fun tidbit - This feathered Therizinosaurus custom by Raúl Pedroche (gex_pdroche) was inspired by the WIP images of my custom Therizinosaurus before the work was finished.

Summary of changes:

• Added full feather coat, wings, and feathered tail
• Replaced claws, made them longer (one of the claws chipped and broke in transit, but I liked it. It made the model feel more 'alive', as if it had lost a portion of that claw in life)
• Removed eyes, replaced with glass eyes
• Repaint
• Removed jaw articulation

Very nice indeed, @Kaur_RP . If I may ask - what materials did you use for the feathers and claws? This is very inspirational. we don't have many decent Therizinosaurs, so this is significant, I'd say.

What an outstanding change. If Papo had actually released that, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Really shows you how much potential would Papo have if they cared about accuracy.

Just saw GR Toy's promotional images for their Therizinosaurus, and then this. Well this is an absolute beauty! The fluff and colors! Outstanding, and what an improvement over the original.

That's a really awesome model! I may make one, someday. It would be fun to have a feathered dinosaur model! When I learned that dinosaurs (some anyway) were feathered, I just about lost my mind! I've always really loved birds (I had lots of parakeets from childhood up until late adulthood).
