Hello everyone!

I've lurked these forums on-and-off for years and years, but never joined in on the community- so here I am!

About myself? Well, I keep a variety of tropical plants, reptiles and arthropods and love to feel like I'm living in my own little Jurassic Park.
My taste in figures is all over the place, I just like what captures my imagination or feels good to look at... which for me, often involves crazy colors/patterns.

Like most of you, I never grew out of my dinosaur phase, and the bulk of my collection is my prized Kenner Jurassic Park toys that I've had since I was a kid.

Currently, I'm aiming to collect more classic JP toys, but I am also INSANE over the BotM Ceratopsians and Tyrannosaurs, which is what prompted me to finally join. I just love the vivid colors and articulation, I can't wait to make some fun dioramas. I am crossing my fingers we'll eventually get a BotM Ceratosaurus, as that's my absolute favorite dinosaur. Excited to discover more figures, too, there's so much out there!

I love the level of knowledge and education on these forums- applying paleontology to objects we can tangibly hold and compare to what we know, ever evolving, is so fun and fascinating.

Aside from expanding my collection, I really want to get into doing custom figures/repaints, I'm very inspired by the work I see here!

Lastly, I know this generally isn't really the place for JP collecting and I know a lot of folks here have very differing views/preferences to my own (and strongly dislike JP as a whole; valid), but I enjoy the variety of perspectives that have all brought us to this hobby and the conversations that arise as a result of that.

Anyhow, enough of my blathering, happy to be here!

Welcome! I think a lot of us are hoping for more endeavors from BotM in the future.

Welcome to the forum! The pace here is much nicer than on social media, I find. I hope you enjoy your time here.
