Protecting Battat Terra dinosaurs during shipping

I've recently received 2 sets of the four Battat Terra dinosaurs where in each set one of the figures was damaged.  All the figures were packed face down in the parcel.  Pressure/movement during the shipping made one of the figures in each set move forward in their Battat box enough to rub against the surface they were facing, which was the bottom of the parcel.  This resulted in paint on the nose and beak of the Nanshiungosaurus in the first set being worn off, and the paint on the nose boss and beak of the Pachyrhinosaurus in the second set being worn off.

I'm wondering how to prevent the Battat dinosaurs getting damaged in this way during shipping?  I was thinking maybe having the figures face something protective like bubblewrap, so if they stick out of their box they would make contact with something soft and protective instead of a hard surface?  I'm planning to get all the Battat dinosaurs, so it's important to find a way to prevent them rubbing during shipping, as it's possible it could happen again whenever anyone sends them.

Would anyone know of ways to prevent the Battat dinosaurs getting damaged in this way during shipping without removing them from their boxes?  Has anyone else experienced receiving/sending Battat dinosaurs (or other figures) that got damaged in this way?

With the way they are packaged, they are really prone to paint rubs during shipping.

I always bubble-wrap toys or place foams or polysterene (Styropor) around them.

Maybe we can use bubblewrap and full the package box with cotton or torn paper ?

A piece of advice I heard once was that you should pretend that you're sending a human baby through the mail, and wrap it as such. I usually wrap the item in bubble wrap, and then stuff the rest of the box with paper/bubblewrap/tissues. You want it so that the item is not moving around inside the box at all.

What i would do is cover put bubble wrap on the figures and wrap the boxes in the wrap, and what ever wrap you have left, you use to fill in the rest of the box.

I had a similar thing happen when I ordered my Carnegie diplodocus and Papo running tyrannosaurus. They were shipped together in a weirdly shaped box, but the oddest thing about the packaging was that they were in plastic bags that didn't cover their heads. So, when they slid all over the box (there wasn't any padding or anything else in there), the paint came off their noses, but only those exposed noses. Because of this, I think a simple, frictionless layer (like a plastic bag) between the dinosaur and the cardboard could suffice to prevent paint rubs; though, of course, more extensive packaging would provide more protection in general. But if someone else still got paint rubs on completely covered dinosaurs, I stand corrected.

Pachyrhinosaurus

I've been told to add pieces of cardboard inside the box to thicken the sides and fill in the space so the figures don't move. If you alternate the directions of corrugations, its pretty strong as well.

Thanks for the replies everyone!  I'll ask for Battat dinosaurs I order in the future to be wrapped in bubblewrap, which will hopefully prevent any paint rubbing off.  Do you think that's sufficient?

Hehe!  That sounds good!

A couple of years ago I had something similar happen when I ordered several Safari figures.  When I opened the parcel they were in, all of them had plastic protection around them, except the WS Liopleurodon which was in a plastic bag that didn't cover the end of the snout.  I think that's why the paint on the end of its snout was rubbed off!
