I'd put all of CollectA's "Supreme" line of pterosaurs up there. (personally not too fond of their P. longiceps sculpt though; arms are too skinny, and textures are too mangy and rough looking)

And they look absolutely spectacular with a good repaint:

A pair of customised CollectA Supreme Caiuajara pterosaur models,  the models could represent a male and a female, the models have been customised by Ben Van Steenberge (left) and Martin Garratt (right). Picture Credit: avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Other honorable mentions include...
- GR-Toys Quetzalcoatlus
- Vitae Zhejiangopterus
- Doug Watson's 2019 Pteranodon longiceps: simple, yet elegant paint scheme, graceful sculpt as per usual by Doug (tbh I prefer it more than the CollectA P. longiceps). Straight beak is attributed to the holotype of P. longiceps, which is the only(?) specimen that can be confidently attributed to the species proper.

That's right avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy, they're mine. I've had all four of the CollectA Supreme repainted and they all came out superbly.

Thank you for sharing! Found a couple more of the repaints you own; I might have to commission Garratt again after seeing how well these turned out! ;)

For me guidraco, dimorphodon and caiuajara from Collecta and the pteranodon from Safari, the quetzalcoatlus from Papo and of course the recent quetzalcoatlus from GR Toys and the pteranodon Collecta 2022 also deserve mention as good figures.

Also an outstanding figure together with the Deluxe pterosaurs from Collecta, Papo's tupuxuara, a figure of the best that the world of toy dinosaurs has made, and PNSO's nemicolopterus, those two figures are impressive.

On the other hand, Favorite's pteranodon and quetzalcoatlus are also great.

Other figures worth mentioning are the dimorphodon from Safari and the rhamphorhynchus I really like that "retro" style of pterosaur, I mean the rhamphorhynchus, it's one of my favorites.

Halichoeres

I agree with previous posters that recent-ish pterosaurs by CollectA, Safari, Vitae, and PNSO are great. But my favorite pterosaurs are actually the ones by Kaiyodo. Their Pteranodon, Anhanguera, Tupandactylus, and Dsungaripterus are spectacular figures.

I don't know if I can pick a single favorite pterosaur figure, but here's a list of my favorite version of each specific pterosaur taxon (some of the figures are actually kinda crappy because there are only a dozen or so pterosaur genera that have been done well):

The CollectA Supreme pterosaurs are probably the best, but they're all too large for me so I don't actually have any. And I agree with Halichoeres about the Kaiyodo pterosaurs, add Colorata too. Some of my personal favorites include the Bullyland standing Pteranodon, Safari Pteranodon, and PNSO Nemicolopterus. I prefer perched pterosaur figures in general but if they're flying I like them to have a support rod and base. The new Quetzalcoatlus by GR Toys is quite nice too but I don't have it yet.

Halichoeres

+1 to stands or rods for flying pterosaurs.

I agree with CollectA's deluxe figures. Especially the dimorphodon!
I would also like to add this little guy from PNSO

Even among the CollectA's, the Guidraco reigns when it comes to accuracy, it gets the wing tip shape right while the others are too pointed.

I'm not too impressed with it.
1) The torso is far too large relative to the head and neck
2)  the head and neck are far too short
3) the eye appears to be mounted too high in the skull
4) the leading edge of the headcrest doesn't match the two that are preserved in the fossils
5) the lateral distal syncarpal and pteroid appear to be attached to the proximal carpal instead of the distal carpal (pteroid should attach to the proximal side of the lateral distal syncarpal)
6)  the massive deltopectoral crest is missing from the humerus
7) Phalange IV-4 (the tip of the wingfinger) is waay too long)
8) I don't see any indication of Sesimoid 'A' that seats on the antero-dorsal end of the lateral distal syncarpal and supports the tendon that attaches to the proximal Metacarpal IV-1.  The tendon isn't shown either

All in all, many proportions are wrong

For the Papo Quetz
1) The torso is far too large relative to the head and neck
2)  the head and neck are far too short
3) the eye appears to be mounted too high in the skull
4) the leading edge of the headcrest is taller than the two that are preserved in the fossils
5) the lateral distal syncarpal and pteroid appear to be attached to the proximal carpal instead of the distal carpal (pteroid should attach to the proximal side of the lateral distal syncarpal)
6)  the massive deltopectoral crest is missing from the humerus
7) Phalange IV-4 (the tip of the wingfinger) is waay too long)
8 ) the anterior tip of the upper mandible appears to be pointed rather than the rather flat, blunt tip it actually has
I don't see any indication of Sesimoid 'A' that seats on the antero-dorsal end of the lateral distal syncarpal and supports the tendon that attaches to the proximal Metacarpal IV-1.   The tendon does appear to be shown though

In summary, both these models are lovely, but they don't look much like a Quetz.

I only have three pterosaurs, and the CollectA Supreme are too big for me too, but from what I can tell they look spectacular. My favorite of my three is the most recent Safari Pteranodon. Hoping Safari someday releases a standing/walking Quetzy.
I think Papo's look the least-attractive to me (but I think that of most of Papo's dinos)

Yeah, I was initially excited about the GR Toys Quetzalcoatlus but after reading the DTB review I'm rethinking it. Someone will release another, eventually, especially since it's going to be in Jurassic World: Dominion. I feel like I've been waiting a forever for a standing Quetzalcoatlus.

"I feel like I've been waiting a forever for a standing Quetzalcoatlus".

Just imagine a giraffe with a tiny torso, huge head, and outer wings tucked up between the elbows and torso to protect them.  The wingtip height on the ground is about even with the backbone.  Sometimes a bit higher, but not much.  The neck articulation is very limited.  There aren't any accurate images on the internet (though John Conway's are the best).

As an aside, the Quetz phalange IV-1 (the outermost bone in the wing) is almost invariably made several times longer than it actually is.

Gwangi

Well, there's always the Mold-A-Rama Quetz.

I feel the same way. I love the GR Quetz, but after learning about some of its accuracy flaws, now I don't know what to do. It may be flawed accuracy wise but for me it's easily the most beautiful take on the genus, at least that I have seen. I think I might wait for a better option to come out, though it will probably take a while until a very accuracte, standing version appears (since I'm not interested in getting pterosaur figures in a flying pose).

Lynx

I just realized I was the one who made this thread-
I will likely get the CollectA Pterosaurs or the minis from PNSO, both look pretty decent.
