Step 1: Make an art of a species nobody has made an art of.
Step 2: Convince someone that it's the best fossil species there is until it's their favorite.
Step 3: Profit!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

This piece has always been a particular favourite of mine.

I can almost hear that Zuul snuffling and grunting.

Is it just me, or do they look oddly similar to Wierum's Amargasaurus? Just wondering:

H @HD-man I hadn't noticed that, but now that you mention it, I certainly see some resemblance!  :P

I've recently become smitten with Concavenator and it's all thanks to Jurassic World Evolution 2. There are over 100 animals in the game and the Concavenator is easily among the best. I know, not quite the kind of art this thread is for.

As far as art goes, I like this one by Jagged Fang Designs.

And then there's this one by Max Bellomio. I hope we get a Concavenator from PNSO, they would nail it!

This one was for Mesozoic Life, wasn't it?  That company said they have the 3D model for their Concavenator ready, they just need the funds to turn it into a figure.  Maybe it will be their next Kickstarter figure?

No worries, I don't mind pop culture reconstructions so long as they're especially good/meaningful. Remember Papi-Anon's Gigantopithecus post ( https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=10177.msg319120#msg319120 )? Speaking of which, Witton's reconstruction comes to my mind 1st.* You can see it in Life through the Ages II: Twenty-First Century Visions of Prehistory (which I reviewed: https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=2210.msg365725#msg365725 ):

*Before Witton, Sibbick's reconstruction came to my mind 1st ( https://www.science-photo.de/bilder/11612636-Gigantopithecus-with-Homo-erectus ):

On a related note, this is in honor of my new deviantART post (which is "in honor of both Jurassic June & Pride Month": https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=11480.0 ):

My favorite Sinosauropteryx artwork may be Willoughby's "Jehol mural":
