Ordered this guy on sale at BBTS :

https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/167709

I needed a Dire Wolf form for my werewolves ( they can change between 5 forms in the game/books) so I figured this big guy would it the bill. I'm pretty chocked it's almost TOO big. It could pass for an incarnation of Fenris.

I even repurposed his armor and accessories.

A talisman/fetish for my Shadow Lord :

My Get of Fenris Berserker though benefited the most.

BBTS also received the Black veteran Willian aka Kilowarg in stock and shipped mine.

Faelrin

Noticed there's a slightly cheaper version of the Kiloworg on BBTS in stock now. No clothing or weapons. Maybe slightly different paint apps (not sure)?

That figures. I just received the Kiloworg one and turned it into a basic werewolf like this.  Oh well. I guess I can put those parts on this one and have a gatling gun werewolf afterall lol

They want more of my money I need a female werewolf or two.  Lot of testosterones over here ;)

Working on a Garou Shaman with the Kilowarg :

Got my order in. Gonna wait a little bit before shipping my pile of loot with it (and the white one), for my pre-order on the Mattel Jakapil to hit.

Finished a few more, Gandalf and Gollum and the Goblins.  I think they turned out ok, my hands/eyes just aren't suited for tiny detail work anymore. The goblins vary a lot in color from scene to scene, even the artbook doesn't help as they are different in it too.

These are excellent! Just watched the film a couple days ago. Kudos, the paint looks very good.

Thanks! It's one of my favorites I'll probably be watching again soon lol  There is also the Return of the King which can be a bit jarring if your a kid with no knowledge of the previous two books. But it continues the same feel as The Hobbit with the same art style.

I've been told by the eBay store owner that they do plan to make characters from The Flight of Dragons and The Last Unicorn eventually. I'd definitely message them and let them know if anyone is interested. https://www.ebay.com/str/supertoysandstuff?_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l170197

The Mattel Jakapil finally came into stock over there, so I've finally shipped my order. Can't wait for these guys in hand now. Just a little longer.

I'm sure you will enjoy them. I'm slowly customizing mine.  On a related note I did find a single Jakapil at a walmart. If  Ican find more I might pick up some for babies for my adults.

Faelrin

Out of curiosity I checked to see if the figures I ordered in my shipment were still in stock. Deluxe Kiloworg has sold out on BBTS now. Really glad I was able to get my hands on this one before they sold out.

Primal version is still available though (I didn't order this one, but I did consider it):

The kilowarg and Primal version are identical except for pieces included. I'm debating using the minigun and camo pants on one. The pieces aren't the easiest to switch out though.

In other news, regarding werewolves, Neca announced last night they are making their own Howling figure :

Faelrin

Curious to how this one will compare to that other companies upcoming one. Looks like an improvement over it if I'll be honest.

Syndicate? I'm getting it and the Neca one. There are several werewolves in the film so some difference is allowable. The Syndicate has two heads so at least two options, Neca will likely have at least 2 heads as well meaning you can build a decent pack for display.

In the film you only see them full body as stop motion puppets as I recall,

Though there were full body ones :

You just don't see them.

Going by the one image, I'd say Neca is making one based on the stop motion pieces and Syndicates looks more the costume version.

I do also have this statue already as well :

Faelrin

Yep the Syndicate one. I'm planning to get both as well. Aside from the AWiL one, I've wanted an action figure of this film's design for some years now. So glad to see it come to fruition, from not one, but two companies.

Haven't watched the film in some time, so I forgot about those stop motion ones. That's neat.

The AWiL is a beast..literally. I bought a 2nd one of those I haven't even opened due to space. They should do Dog Solidiers next or even William from Underworld.  At least as far as werewolves go.

They only appear right near the end for about 30 seconds. I've seen all of them, honestly you could probably fast forward to the end and just catch all the action without the hour of build up lol A few of the other Howling films have some cool werewolves too like the Marsupials and the original nightmare and others are just..well..junk. They did give the one with the sideshow carnival a good story though.

Faelrin

They are finally here. A little delay because of the recent snowstorm, but at least it means I can get some cool toy photography pics of them. Hopefully I have the energy for it tomorrow.

Ordered.  I think the necastore.com is saying it will get them first/July? But I've heard a lot of problems with Neca recently so I'd rather just use BBTS.

Debating if I need two, with the Syndicate version I could use it for the other one open or closed mouth.

Used all the spare gear I received with the Cerato warrior figure for my Werewolves.

Upgraded the Shadow Lord pretty well.
