Edit: Found it here as well:

Seems to be a more orange in this listing's pic, which seems to match the box image from the previous link:

I think this topic would be better off in the "Dinosaur toy lines" board. avatar_DinoToyForum @DinoToyForum avatar_Blade-of-the-Moon @Blade-of-the-Moon avatar_Libraraptor @Libraraptor  C:-)

Couldn't find this topic there, so how did I find it? Searching for "TNG tedium".  :P Yeah, a change in the name would be appreciated. For example, if I started a thread naming it: PNSO - New for 2024 (tedium), I don't think many people would be amused.  ::)

Hello everyone !
I'm interested in the giganotosaurus, spinosaurus & t-rex figures.
They are avalaible on Amazon (United States) but cannot be shipped to my delivery location (France).
I can't find them anywhere else.
Maybe there is someone in the US i can paypal to buy & send them to me?
I don't know how much the international delivery can cost but is this something that seems possible to you? ^-^

Andy is correct  in pointing out that Safari got the digits of the hands right and TNG wrong. Only the three inner ones had claws. The little fingers are unclawed and the thumbs not visible.

I believe avatar_suspsy @suspsy is going to display theirs as an Eremotherium eomigrans? That way major surgery wouldn't be needed. Just a minor painting job, by covering Digit V with a skin tone to conceal the claw.

That said, I do wonder how closely the proportions of the rest of the body match up.

The head is still clearly Megatherium as opposed to Eremotherium, which has a shallower skull.

I don't really see any recourse, avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy , other than to modify the hands, since , as avatar_suspsy @suspsy mentioned, the skull dictates it being a Megatherium. Not such a problem, really.

Ah that's a shame. Was really hoping to be able to add a Megatherium into my collection (without surgery), or at least be able to substitute it with minimal corrections.

Oh well. May very well cave and get the TNG Megatherium in the future, but not a high priority for me on the off chance that someone else comes along with a better version (unlikely but a guy can dream).

I fear that I may typecast myself as an Island of Dr. Moreau character if I keep up this practice of having corrective surgery done on numbers of the figures in my collection, but I think that it comes from the desire not to give up on them because of design shortcomings. The Megatherium just has too many good points in its favor to walk away from it, IMO.
