avatar_Dilopho @Dilopho Not with a major retool yet, but they did reissue the Tyrannosaurus last year with upgraded paint work and eyes from what I've seen. Not smaller feet though (although the canceled buck T. rex had them). Really do hope they redo the first three raptors at some point with the new sculpt. Really need to rework the heads to be more film accurate too.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy Absolutely is weird about the smaller HC figures. The medium large ones might have some minor issues here and there (like the ate bees look of the Parasaurolophus, missing pycnofibers on the Geosternbergia, huge feet on the T. rex), but are largely pretty decent. Small ones often have either good paint, but poor sculpts (Dimetrodon, the male JPIII raptor), or good sculpts, but poor paint (Pachycephalosaurus, baby T. rex, upcoming Pyroraptor maybe).

Speaking of the above baby T. rex, here's a repaint of it I found that looks really good (still available btw), and shows the sculpts is largely fine, but the paint is a miss.

Edit: Man do I feel bummed out I missed the Irritator. Can't find it anywhere now. Only place I found with a reasonable price is like Toys R Us in China, lol.

That said, I did find out that the Wave 2 minis Andy had shared are legit after all. How disappointing. Entirely repacks. Then again the upcoming CC set does have some new sculpts in it. Hope those get individual releases, even if I want that whole particular set.

I kind of hope they redo the HC Baryonyx. The teeth and detail on the new mainline one looks great just that tiny tail..

Likewise. Though definitely not a priority.

I do wonder why Mattel took so long to figure out this method of moulding teeth though. The detail is way sharper, the individual teeth are more distinct, and the soft rubber makes it safer to play with.

I'm not sure it took them a long time vs actually applying it where needed. The Super Colossal line pretty nice teeth after Rex and Blue. The Carno, Indoraptor and Indominus are nice. It also feel like the same method they used on the ankylosaurs where they molded the spines out of softer material as well.  Maybe they had molds for some of these made already and it's something they only applied to newer ones?  I was pretty tempted by the new Baryonyx when I saw it at Walmart last week, but the tail killed it..just way too short for the rest of the sculpt.

My Metriacanthosaurus came. I was concerned at first, because the jaw was completely rigid and I couldn't move it at all.
I ended up giving it a loooot of gentle persuasion, and it relented and started to move. Phew!

This is actually quite a nice one. The eyes are small and natural looking, and are actually visible from the front. Maybe not to the extent they should be, but it's way better than the mainline version of this animal.

The hands and feet look nice, the colour scheme is very nice too, although I wonder why they didn't use the colour scheme from the website/game design? I guess this could be a v1 "Hammond" Metri, whereas the website design is the v2 "Masrani" Metri.

Hopefully I can pick up its fellow Allosauroid buddy in the next month or two. I have my hopes up that it'll be easily available on Amazon UK for no markup, simply because Blue is available on Amazon UK for no markup. I'd like it to be as easy to get these figures as possible.

Some photos of the upcoming Giganotosaurus and Therizinosaurus from Amazon Spain.
I'm really liking the paint on the Giganotosaurus. it actually looks pretty great with the brown in between the black and green.
Also, I just wanna point out that its arms are beefier than in the film. They look nicer to me like that.

Thank you very much!

Preordered the Giga but not the Theri because it comes in July, and I have something very expensive to pay for in July...so I will have to get it later. The Giga comes in January so no issue there.

Look at the comments, lol. It's nothing but paid bots.

andrewsaurus rex

i'll be interested to see how the Giga compares in size to the HC or Epic Roarin' T Rexes.  The torso looks beefier.

It is what it is, probably from China as they have these new pieces already that aren't available anywhere else.  Just thought it was cool to see them there.  I don't think they even bothered to draw attention to the fact which would have resulted in more views.   The number of Spiderman repaints is pretty ridiculous too.. lol

I found some more in-hand photos of the Therizinosaurus that show it's the same size as the Carnotaurus. I'm not sure if anybody else posted these here.

I'm quite impressed by the Becklespinax. It just feels like a good design, and the figure does nice justice to it.
The Parasaurolophus plush is really cute! And it glows?

Have you guys talked about this yet? I couldn't find any mention of it through a search.
Jurassic World Reimagined... what could that be?

A Jurassic World movie line as if we were back in 2015?
Jurassic World but with realistic dinosaurs?
Kenner style figures of the Jurassic World era, similar to their JP 93 line?

I discussed it somewhere? I'm betting either the first one, though that's a kick to Hasbro and deservedly so, or the last one where we get the more action oriented sets.

I need more humans from the first film whatever they do. I still need a first JW version of Claire, Masrani, the kids, Lowery, Hoskins and some army builder park workers / INGEN ops guys.

I have a feeling I won't get any of those though.  ^-^  Mattel for some reason seems primarily focused on the 2nd and 3rd film aside from a few dinosaur species. The only humans we have is Owen( which really didn't change much over three films) and Barry ( still shocked we got him).

Whatever it might be, if it's another target exclusive then it doesn't matter for me. It will probably won't reach my country, just like 93 classic and most of the legacy collection these days.

I'm still mad that retailers in my country chose the Legacy set of Ellie with the jeep and raptor over Velociraptor cage pack.

How is it that is so easy and relatively affordable to get exclusive stuff from Japan but so difficult and expensive from the US?
