The CollectA Nanuqsaurus arrived for me today!! Incredible little figure. It's 6 inches long, so larger than I thought it would be but man, I'm so glad they went with a color scheme like this. I absolutely despise a lot of CollectA's paint applications since they make an otherwise incredible sculpt look mediocre/cheap, but the Nanuqsaurus has a great one; brown overall with white patches in logical places, as well as dark accents, it's pretty nice. The teeth are cleanly painted and the solid black eyes have a bit of gloss as well.

As mentioned, the only downside is the tripod tail, but if that's what it takes to get it to stand, then I am okay with that. Plumage looks good, and fingers and toes are well sculpted.

It's labeled as "Nanuqsaurus - stalking" so I guess that opens up the line to other poses like other figures have had.

I might actually buy a second one, the price is great. And now we wait for Safari's Nanuqsaurus!

I just realized that the black on the Nanuqsaurus's face could be an adaptation to protect its eyes from glare in the snow. Kind of like how baseball players paint black under their eyes.



I hated the figure in the promo shots but purchased it anyways and I honestly love the little guy! It scales with the Kaiyodo Ornithomimus too, def will be shooting pics with it come winter.
