Nice they've finally nailed down some cast members. I also saw where they might not be using Malta for the black market but just the water tanks at the studio for filming. Also of interested is the "Park" name being tossed around instead of "World".

Glen Powell (TOP GUN: MAVERICK) explained why he turned down a starring role in the JURASSIC WORLD reboot movie, "JURASSIC is one of my favorite movies. It's one of the things I've wanted to do my whole life. I'm not doing that movie because I read the script and I immediately was like, my presence in this movie doesn't help it. And the script's great. The movie's going to f*cking kill. It's not about that. It's about choosing where you're going to make an audience happy and where you're going to make yourself happy."

JURASSIC WORLD---Rupert Friend (OBI-WAN KENOBI) will co-star with Scarlett Johansson in the reboot movie in an undisclosed role.
Also, Chris Pratt commented on if Johansson had called him to see if he was interested in returning as Owen Grady, "You know what, she didn't, she hasn't called, but, you know, ScarJo, I'm only one call away. I think Colin [Jost--Johansson's husband] has my number. Feel free to reach out. Yeah, that's exciting news. That's real cool."
He added about returning, "Hey, never say never. Maybe. Maybe I return. Maybe I don't."

Sure seems like the sets in Asia were aimed to be South America now. Kind of hope we are getting a dinosaurs escaped to the mainland story ala the JP novel. Some said this might be a reboot or a prequel?

Well, okay...no it won't. But I think that'd suck for the franchise. It has been very coherently moving forward, and I see no reason at all to stop it now. It's at a really interesting place with dinosaurs across the globe.

If it's a movie set in the past, say between 3 and World, that's really cool.

I'm so mixed on this film...it's gonna be a long time before we see anything of it, but I'm anxious they're gonna do something dumb.
