Now selling dinosaurs (etc) from Canada

So those of you who know me may recall that until recently I managed a dinosaur museum with a great (and choosy) gift shop.

Well, I'm not there anymore, but who can stay away from selling dino figures?

So I am just getting started--but my first order is already here!

I have received for sale a wide range of the Jurassic Hunters line. I am still fighting with the website and, for some odd reason, photos (this is the only one that will work for some reason)

But that is such a fun picture! It was more fun when a few fell and knocked the rest over several times...

I have really missed getting in orders--and really missed finding a market for them!

The store will be called FaunaFigures (so, yeah, modern animals will be part of it as well). The website will be faunafigures.com (no hyperlink yet--it's not live! Also, it helps to have a web designer for a spouse!). I will have another order in soon (mostly moderns from Mojo) plus a few other companies as we go along. Any questions? Shoot me an email or message. Something you want, or hope I have? Same thing! When things are set up I will hopefully be able to have a cart in place to be more direct (it's in progress, along with the rest of course).

Thanks for reading! I will keep you all posted!

Thanks--I had to edit the post but got a photo to work at least!

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

Thanks! It helps to have a web-savvy wife...if I could just extend everyday by about 4 hours I'd have enough time to do everything sooner!

I am almost ready to go live with the GeoWorld stuff; just got Mojo (no 2013 figures yet, sadly). And we'll see where it goes from here!

Okay, so I'm up and running (I hope...).

The store can be found at http://faunafigures.com/. Anyone who wants to take a look, I'm all for it. If you find any glitches, errors or bugs please let me know!

Oh yeah, feel free to buy something  ;D

But seriously, let me know if anything is going wrong. It is currently set up for North American postage but I can find and set up beyond (it's just a harder one to have there).

And yes, I'm still fine-tuning many little things!

SBell

So a quick update--I have now received up to the 2013 Safari Ltd figures! Everything is already online

http://faunafigures.com/

The only ones I couldn't get were the black wolf, black fox and Carnegie Concavenator.

But the dinos, toobs, etc are here! And they are pretty nice from my point of view...

Bit of news--between moving, changing jobs and a site malfunction, FaunaFigures was offline, but it is back up now and should be working properly again. In a few days I should have the Replica Toy Fish figures added as well.

As promised, the whole line is now here:

http://faunafigures.com/products-page/brand/replica-toy-fish-co/

I spoke with the owner. Maybe someday we'll see the other gars, pikes, catfish and so many other cool fish. But the ones currently available make really great scene-fillers for river-side dioramas and such.

Thanks. My order came a few weeks ago (and I have been relatively rare on the forum due to working).  Everything arrived perfectly! :) :) :) :) :)

That's great to hear! So far, most of the glitches have been solved quickly!

Also, good news--CollectA 2013 is in Canada now! In my store no less! I am still just loading it up first.

CollectA has really stepped up its game. Their whales and antelopes (and, of course, dinos) are great.

We received our second order last week out here on the East Coast; everything looks great!  Sorry for not replying sooner to let you know!  Thanks so much, as always; it's great to be able to buy these in Canada!   It's also cool to see our Ice Age to Go kit there in the picture at the top.

Good news everyone!

CollectA 213 has landed in Canada--most importantly, online, from me!

(That is, once the photo actually works...EDIT--I think it does now)

They can all be seen in up-close glory here

And yes, a few are from earlier years, but I just got them in, so they get to sneak into the photo. See if you can spot which ones!

Another quick update--I now have the rest of the Safari 2013 figures I am expecting!

So the Carnegie Concavenator, Black Fox, and Cerberus are in.

Also have the WS Giant Squid and a few more Aerion figures in too. Neat bunch of animals!

SBell

Another update! This time with writing by me! I posted elsewhere on the ATF, but I have just uploaded my discussion of the Replica Toy Fish figures, featured on the Fauna Figures website:

http://faunafigures.com/featured-creatures-replica-toy-fish-company/

And you can see my versions of dioramas! Maybe they'd be better if I remembered to either edit the photo or watch out for background and staging in the pictures. But it amused me to make them.

SBell

Wow. Haven't written here for a while.

Anyway, the good news--I just got a bunch of the late 2013 and some of the 2014 figures for the store.

Bad news--I'm not going to be able to take orders for the next couple weeks due to schedules and updates. So they'll be up around the 17th of May. I am also working on an improved (I hope) shipping policy now that I have some data to work with, figuring out what works and what doesn't.
