My anniversary rex does not have a warped face. I think the issue was only a temporary one and might be fixed now?
My living room smells like old plastic dinosaur toys... Better than air freshener!

Neither does mine...but I thought I should mention it since some people have raised the issue.

Gwangi

Just goes to show you how few good Tyrannosaurus figures exist on the market.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Since this topic and the one created by Dinohunter24 dealt with the same thing, Wild Safari I combined the topics.

tanystropheus

I like the Master Fossil Life Model Series T-rex from Griffon Enterprise.

Also, Revoltech has a a pretty cool looking JP-style, articulated T-rex.

Favorite T-rexes are good, anatomically (although, they could use more plumage)

Balaur

I like Safari. I like the species they choose, I like the detail on them, and I like the colouration. I think they beautiful models. However, I still have problems with them. For instance:

- The clown feet. They are really buggy, and I understand that have to make it bigger to support the weight, but it just brings down the level of the model because of the oversized feet.
- Occassionally, I just notice that the head is a little large, like in Ceratosaurus, but that is honestly just me nitpicking, and Its only one model.

Apart from that I still like Safari, and O do think that they come out with better and better figures each year. I am going to get the Diabloceratops and Gryposaurus soon, and I love the detail in the Gastornis feathers, and the awesomness of the Elasmosaurus, and the very high quality sculpture of the Dimorphodon. However, I used to prefer Carnegie, mostly because it was the first toy line that I began to collect, but now, I think that while I like Carnegie more, there colours on the dinosaurs are getting a little weird (again, nitpick) the theropods keep on tripoding, and rhe detail is getting lower makes a few of the new Safari figures surpass them.

That's my opinion. ;)

Wild Safari needs to redo the Guanlong.

Also, the Inostrancevia is crudely painted >:(

What is wrong with the Guanlong?

Takama

Its feet are so big that it looks like it could trip over them. It also looks like it's been sculpted out of chewing gum.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Geoworld's is a much better figure I think..and larger too :

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

They are great--I personally like them both--but the finest will always be the Capcom-made DinoExpo figure.

Of course, but it's not quite as dark-coloured (unlike the Safari and Capcom figures that are quite blue)

Yes.

Blade-of-the-Moon

It's a good thing though..given the pose I'm almost sure it would topple over without it.

Having bases on figures make it more of a model than a figure in my opinion.
