That Diplocaulus sculpture is really a great piece, lifelike as few others I've ever seen.

ceratopsian

The group of Diplocaulus must look stunning on your wall.

sauroid

that Diplo aggregation is very beautiful. they'd make great pets if they were alive today :D.
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

The group of Diplocaulus gives me the heebie jeebies. .......

;D He, he, I like the term "heebie-jeebies". It should be in my active vocabulary from now on.

:D  Shapeways mini Diplodocus (designed by David Krentz, painted by Martin Garratt)

One rainy day about 7 years ago I checked the Shapeways stuff and stumbled over something that was offered on the Krentz page.
It was called "Dino for Fred". The picture was so bad and so small, I could hardly identify anything.
But I thought - "Hey, it's a new Krentz figure for about 10 Dollars, go and buy it!" .. which I did (in black, strong & flexible).
I should have ordered 10, because it turned out that this was a wonderful tiny Diplodocus figure David had made for a friend's birthday.
I can't remember if the original present ordered by David was in silver or gold. Anyway - the figure had to be offered on Shapeways for
a short period of time in order to get the present done (Shapeways rule). Lucky me was right there at the right moment and ordered.
The figure was gone a while later. So, next to a certain Fred I guess I'm the only person who owns this little treasure.
I hadn't been daring to send it away for 7 years, but Martin's colours let it shine in new splendour now!

That's one awesome Penta! Reminds me a lot of a Carnage Resaurus figure in style and colour, except not poseable.

Talk about a red head.

Again the thread title fits very well.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Lanthanotus

Really nice one, wanted to add that model to my collection aswell but somewhatforgot about it... thanks for reminding :)

Very nice Dunkleosteus collection :)

I wonder however, when we will see one with the bone plate armor properly hidden within the skin....
