The Toyway figures have new packaging, interesting! Too much white, but looks pretty decent otherwise. Can't say the same for most of their dinosaur figures though... ::)

While I would welcome a larger Brachi ..it will be a long time before they re-do it again I think.  Maybe they can release a similar species in a larger scale ?  I'm bugging CollectA on FB to maybe do a big sauropod in their display range. ;)

I think they have reached the point they could offer some sort of box set..for each year as a perk or promotion. Purchase the set and you get the large scale Brachi, and three or four smaller animals all for  a set price. Either that or go to offering a seperate larger scale line that is targeted at serious collectors.

Safari tried the higher end dino collector statues before..I don't think it made it past the one piece the tyrannosaur. It would be nice if they could get Forest to sculpt some larger scale pieces for another collector line..not resin statues..but just big figures.

They ARE amazing ! ;D

Nice haul ! I'm really hoping they re-release this one and the others in the pre-painted series ...of course it's very likely it will be different than the original piece you have now. ;)

Oh, Helge, you never cease to cause the most acute pangs of envy.  ;D Wonderful Araki Triceratops!

Amargasaurus, I'm contemplating giving the Carnegie Brachiosaurus a re-paint, too (in addition to having one in its original finish). But knowing me, that mightn't happen for another century or so...

At the moment I can't afford a 2nd one to repaint..but who knows..it would def be cool to try I think.

If anyone is interested in seeing more pics of the Brachi I posted some outdoor shots in the Diorama section. :)

In a crazy bizzare way the Araki resin model looks kind of cool disassembled--it looks like an alien fortress/tower  ;D

Metallisuchus

Jet & Post - Really nice additions. I'm starting to get the urge to splurge.

Post - Did you plan a color scheme yet?

Simon

Unfortunately, the head for the 1/20 Araki Kaiyodo Triceratops is too small for the body - but generally I agree about the coolness of the piece! - Araki is one of my favorites.  At different times over the past 20 years I bought and assembled almost all of his 1/20 critters, including this one ....

I had similar thoughts while taking the close-up pics :).
Just to clarify - The Kaiyodo Dinoland models aren't resins. They're made of light and hardly breakable PVC (which can be an advantage ;D).

I'm gonna send it to Martin (Garratt) today.
Expect to see it assembled and painted in my collection thread soon :).

Please show them :)!
Do you also have the Dinoland Kentrosaurus?

No, I never had (or saw, for that matter) the Kentrosaurus ... I no longer have the models (gave them away over the years to various science teachers in several schools so the kids could enjoy them and maybe get interested in paleontology), and I didn't have a digital camera in the 1990s, the "regular" photos are in some box in the attic ... maybe ...   :-\

I think there is a pic of the Kentro in one of the old Monstrosities catalogs I have . Will check if interested.

When you guys build these vinyl kits..what do use for weights and filler ?  I'm considering BB's and expanding foam..but not sure if it will hurt the vinyl. I've used wire, lead, and newspaper in the past of larger vinyl pieces..but I'm thinking there has to be a better, more efficient way. ;)

I used newspaper, worked okay for me. What about plaster?

I don't know..I've heard some say mold sets up in it and cause some issues..I considered using expanding foam.

Cool Buffalo :).

Hey - I bought 3 figures in a real shop yesterday ;D. That doesn't happen too often.

Schleich pair of Warthogs & Bullyland Australopithecus

..... and a Yujin Velociraptor from the net:

Gryphoceratops

That little velociraptor is cool!  ugly.  but cool.

Gwangi

I was watching one of those Velociraptors on eBay myself but passed on it for a little "Dinosaur King"  Tyrannosaurus instead. I wonder if you you won the same one I was watching?

Just received my Carnegie Brachiosaurus. And yes, I have been tampering with it:

For comparison, together with the Carnegie Diplodocus:
