Decided to delay the contest for the 15th because we haven't chosen the prize yet. We're still deciding on what it's going to be or whether that should be the prize for December, etc.


Either way, I've upped my stock of Safari Ltd. items. I'm almost out of Papos, I think it's just a Spinosaurus and a Stegosaurus left.

Hello everyone and welcome to October's contest! Sorry for the delay!
This is a very open-ended contest. Your task is to grab a dinosaur, or dinosaurs, and put them on a spooky Halloween themed situation! Why not have a dinosaur scare a ghost or have a vampire suck a dinosaur's blood (Vampire which will then turn into a bat and land on a tree, get covered in tree sap and...you know where I'm going with this), or why don't you dress up your dinosaur in a cool costume or give them facepaint (TIP USE WASHABLE PAINT, don't use markers!!!), or why not take a stroll through a cemetery and do the Thriller with a buncha zombies? Why not pose next to a buncha pumpkins? Whatever you choose! It's very very open ended!
There will be two winners!
The first prize will receive a set of 11 Safari Ltd. dinosaurs and prehistoric animals as seen in the picture! A $40 value! You can't find most of these molds in stores anymore as they are from the 90's! The second prize is... A MYSTERY!!! It's a dinosaur though, but that's all I can say. It's not better than the first prize, but it's certainly going to be loved by dino fans of all ages.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS!
1. Spooky and gore is alright, but nothing that will give kids (or their parents) nightmares.
2. Nothing that alludes to racist, ableist, misogynistic attitudes. We wanna make this fun and cute (and spooky but in a good way), not to mention these are dinosaurs. No need to get all political.
3. Entries are to be messaged to me personally through here. For those who are participating in a forum, send me a personal message with your submission.
4. Not just Jurassic Park. All dinosaurs are welcome. People asked me this last time.
5. Entries will be posted publicly on the 30th, and the winners will be announced October 31st.
6. Prizes will ship on the first week of November!
7. These will be judged by us here at Mesozoic Emporium. Do NOT ask me about what my criteria is. This is an open ended Halloween contest, make of that as you will. We do not favor certain competitors over others, but submissions aren't judged randomly either, so do a good job and be proud of your submission!

OH NO!!! THE NEW ORDER HAS TAKEN OVER!!!! ***END OF YEAR CONTEST!!!*** So Star Wars: The Force Awakens is coming out, as you may all be aware, and it will likely de-throne our favorite movie of the year forever. So I naturally want to see some Dino on Star Wars violence and kick The New Order's booty! Got a bunch of Stormtrooper figures lying around? Feed them to the T.rex! Or what if Jar Jar was actually a dinosaur? Why not recrease famous Star Wars scenes entirely with dinosaurs? The choice is yours! Use the force to create the coolest picture of all!
Prize announcements will be forthcoming because we have yet to decide what they will be.
