I can't see that plant in the bottom, the red one, and not think of the Grinch's hair. Hahaha!  :)) :)) :))

You see what I mean?

If only i could animate the leaves unfurling!

mostly i wanted gold make it reminiscent of lions and griffins on medieval heraldry.  other than that i just borrowed bits and pieces from various birds.

Love it. Do you sell these as prints?

Jose S.M.

That's really pretty, I like how the large plants are oriented upwards and the neck and tail of the dinosaur and the plants of the base do it downwards, gives a nice effect.

Gorgeous depiction of one of my favorite dinosaurs. You have a real flair for aesthetics.

Very nice! I like the eyespot concept.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Dito,... I really appreciate your art irimali and if it's allowed I dare say, that last one looks even more refined and professional than the previous one in terms of shading and dimensionality (if that is a word at all  ???)

thanks!  i was inspired by indian peacock softshell turtles.  nilssonia formosa.  they've got a really neat eyespot pattern on their shells.

thank you!  i did sculpt a crude clay model and photograph it for reference for this painting.  I haven't done that for most of the earlier drawings.  I think you're right!  I'm going to have to do this more often.
