Yesterday I accompanied my 4 year old daughter to her field trip.  One of the major destinations was the Dinosaurs Island, which features animatronic life size dinosaurs, skeleton replicas, dino ride and dinosaur mascots show.

Here are a few photos:

At the entrance ...

One of the mascots.

Here's a link I found on You Tube.  It's almost the same except for a few changes like the visitors can now feed the Tyrannosaurus, a fun dino ride. etc.

Hope you'll enjoy this like I did.  BTW I found out that my daughter is all of a sudden, afraid of dinosaurs. Hahahaha!  :)

TFL! :)

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

She does look a bit terrified, but at least you enjoyed yourself!

My youngest was similarly scared when she saw the animatronic T-Rex at the London NHM a couple of years back, in retrospect I shouldn't have dangled her over the barrier!

Great pics!

Takama

NERDY SCRUTINAZATION ALERT >:D :P

Lots of Anatomical flaws on the Animatronics I can let that fly, but some things seem off about that Hadrosaur and Allosaur Skulls.  BTW what's with that Elephant Trumpeting? Did they have a Mammoth there?..

I liked the Dino Suits.

Thanks for looking, Jetoar!

Thanks Crackington! Not a bit, she was really terrified, as well as the other kids! I had to force her to have our pictures taken and if you'll notice, most of the time, she holds onto me tightly.  :)

I think they're afraid because the dinosaurs are huge, moving and growling at the same time.  They look real! :)

You're right about the anatomical flaws and I did inform the guide about them in a humurous manner. And since I was informing her about some of the dinosaurs, she was happy to take our pictures.  :)

Sorry, I did not pay attention much on the skulls.  The tour's so fast when you're in a group.

Hahahaha!  Even my daughter was searching for the elephants when she heard those sounds. LOL!  :)

TFL and TFP, Takama!  :)
