Found this one cheap... still ugly ;D

This one looks much better:

Still, it's better than the stock photo. That pic was 2x as   *yuck* than this.
like a bantha!

They fixed the colors for the Megalodon...it still look slightly Happy-Mealish...The Megalodon would have been a worthwhile model if it was released in 1/40 scale (I mean the Megalodon is known for its size, right?)

GAH Safari What were you thinking?

but I will still get it for completion sake

As for the Sucho, im impressed, though the Head might be a little too thick.

I don't know... To me the Sucho looks a little too cartoony. Maybe it's just me, but especially when put right next to the Papo Spino.

You know..I'm not sure. I've had the MB Great White standing in for a Meg for quite awhile in my collection already.  I'm not sure what would make a good Megalodon figure.  I do recall seeing one shark toy at Seaworld around..'99 or 2000 that I think woudl have done the job. It was big..maybe 2' ?... heavy rubber, huge mouth full of teeth, realistic detailing....always wished I had bought it.  I'm not even sure who made it now.

That looks pretty close to what I remember Gwangi...that just might be it !  To me it feels more like Meg than this WS  figure at the least..and whale figures will fit in it's mouth.. lol

That is a AAA white shark, I had one as a kid but got rid of it for some reason. Maybe I'll get one again someday but it is certainly not a priority.

:)) Ha, ha ....... so true!

I just got the new Wild Safari Sucho. First impression is that it's not a great figure but then I think back to the old green one and the new one looks fantastic!

Wouldn't this make a good Megalodon? It's by Favorite.

Actually, there's plenty of models out there you could use as a stand in for a Megalo...Schleich's among them.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Looks better than Safari's for sure.

That's what Wild Safari's Megalodon should have looked like. No wonder they released it so early...

The Favorite model comes with a stylish base as well :)

Cool. Replace the seal with a dolphin or whale calf..would do it I think.

I kinda like the Shleich, just for the act of having it's mouth closed. I think the streamlined look is far more interesting than the gaping mouth look. But either way, the new Safari Meg is one ugly figure. Seriously bad.....

edited for language.

Yutyrannus

I think the Papo Great White would make a nice Megalodon.

I agree, it is very megalodonish stand-in, it's very funny; Great Whites are Megs, and Megs are Great Whites ;D
