I've noticed that in the "User info" on the left side of the main page, the number of posts one has made has been replaced with "Total Logged In" time.  Would it be possible to bring back the number of posts?  I wouldn't mind if this was done by reversing the change, as the total logged in isn't something I have any reason to look at (and I can view it in the stats section of my profile if I'd like to see it), while the number of posts was a little more interesting.

That's impossible because the background appears differently for every user depending on the width of their screen. If you are in a browser now, resize your window, and you will see what I mean.

Thanks!, but I still think a background diorama would be cool. I can explain: so we all know what a diorama is, and what it would be would look like a rocky early jurassic-late triassic terrain type, and then we would hold a pole to see what animals are most popular and then the most popular versions of those toys would be placed in the diorama! That would be awesome!

Thanks. There is one single responsive version. I took all those screenshots on my laptop by changing the width of the browser window.

No, I haven't, I was referring to manual resizing, like if I wanted something to display at 160px high when it started out 400, for example.

That should work. Just type in the values with bbcode: [ img height=160 ] image.jpg [ /img]. Bbcode was never taken away.

You were quite right - I investigated and found a conflict with the portal code (side bars and all that). I've edited the line of code and it should kick in soon. Hopefully there are no negative side effects.

So, the manual height value now works. But there was a side effect. So I might have to put it back as it was, and we will live without manual height functionality. As I say, responsiveness sometimes means compromises. Edit, I put it back!

Drat! Well, thanks very much for trying. Small price to pay for better multi-device utility, although I am one of the Luddites who nearly always posts from a proper computer.

As a content creator that often has to work within the boundaries of mobile devices, I continue to feel that a "real" computer is still the best way to engage with any web content. Certainly, a mobile phone remains a hobbled and inefficient tool for typing messages—a miniature touchscreen keyboard is a very nearly useless thing. Perhaps, though, this simply means that I am also something of a Luddite.

That being said, I do read the forum on my phone with some regularity, and although I miss the horizontal banner, I appreciate all the work being done to make the site more responsive!

I mostly post on my laptop, and rarely on my ipad. Never on mobile, it is just too fiddly. I'm a luddite too! But the world shouldn't revolve around us.
