Ugh, no. I could have said half  pelican or half gator. I just used frog. How do we know spino had a throat sac?
we don't, but theres no reason to assume it didn't have one, its artistic liberty

He doesn't seem to understand the concept of artistic liberty.

I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

Wow! Did you even read that? That wasn't artistic liberty, that's what it actually looked like!

Do you think a 12 or 15 tonne Spinosaurus will support its weight on thimble twig legs?

What's wrong with that? I think that makes it both weirder and cooler, plus it gives a hint towards how Spinosaurus lived (if it wasn't clear already).

Yes actually, remember Majungasaurus? Besides, I'm starting to think Spinosaurus was at least 50% aquatic.

I think it was more than 50%. Something like 70%.

Maybe the new finds a mistake! Spino lived with sarcosuchus! Maybe the new legs belong to a mega croc! They were mixed up after death!

Oh come on, just deal with it! Besides the real Spinosaurus is WAY cooler than that JP3 monstrosity.

Yeah, probably somewhere around that. I actually may rewrite The Fish Hunter again because of this "new" discovery.

I never compared it to that rex killer.

I though of it as more of a theropod version of a crane or bear.

What is your problem? Why can't you just see dinosaurs as what they are, animals not monsters.

Uh, have you seen crocodils limbs? There's is no way they could get mixed up with theropod legs, they're totally different!

And, convergent evolution maybe?

Um, no. There are clear differences with crocodile legs and theropod legs. Also, we are not saying it has tiny back legs.

There is no reason to make them so spiny, I agree, but they were stocky and muscular animals, they weren't walking skeletons!

Why would you hope that, Spinosaurus gets cooler with every new discovery.

We're not talking about the thorny sail. How does that make it less of an animal anyways?
